"The hotel is great. The staff is awesome. However, the first noght we were in a very noisy room, we requested the change and we payed for the upgrade. It would be better if they advice aboutcthe noise in that area of the hotel. Other than that, the experience was great: the food, spa, access to the beach, the staff is the most valuable in that hotel. "

The Royal Sands Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Great holiday spot

"Nicest place we've ever stayed. We were in a beachfront room and woke up to views over the ocean. It was less than 1mun to get to the pools and the beach. Food was amazing and drinks were great too. Honestly cant think of anything bad to say. As long as you kick the timeshare people out of your room (who turn up 5min after you check in) then no problems. The Hacienda had great food, but even just the standard restaurant was great. The water is a bit rough but OK as long as you are a strong swimmer. Not OK for kids or weaker swimmers for anything other tha paddling. We took a provate tour to Chichen Itza and Cenotes...can be done in 5hrs and snorkelled for 1/2 day incl with a turtle. Snorkelling is not comparable with the pacific but still nice to do."
