I just got back 3 days ago from this resort and I was attending a wedding & also my first time in Cancun. When we got to our room it smelled like mildew/musky, thought maybe because room had been closed up so didn’t say anything. The next morning woke up with the worst allergies and the smell was worse so we asked to be moved. We got moved one floor up (2nd flr), right when we walked in I went to open patio door and stopped when I saw a puddle of feces with mosquitos & ants, I told the employee since he was still standing there, he said he would send someone. 2 hrs passed, no one came, then water started drilling down from light fixture over the spa tub by the sliding door, then the other light started dripping water, after 3 min, the entire part of the ceiling approx 3x5 ft came crashing down on the tub! As if this wasn’t bad enough & scared the you know what out of us, it took 45 min for someone to come help. Mind you, there is live wired with water. We had 2 hrs before the wedding and needed to get ready. They moved us to the 3rd flr (3rd room for us in 2 days), where we thought everything was better but the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. The air didn’t get fixed till 2 days later where they took 3 hrs checking it and finally replacing it, just to have that one work exactly the same!!! I couldn’t believe how bad of an experience we were having and I honestly feel that we should have been comped the money we paid for 4 nights there.
