We had a great trip. I had thought about canceling based on the reviews but so glad we didn’t. We had a wonderful time and never left the resort. Everything we needed was there — the kids were never bored or hungry. The service was excellent even though you could tell some of the operations were still getting ironed out. For such a large resort, the service and staff exceeded expectations. A few areas of opportunity: - published quiet hours in the areas where rooms are - published rules of the game to get seating at al a carte restaurants for non-Diamond club guests - more beach clean up efforts — I know seaweed is a problem throughout Cancun but is there more that can be done to provide a good swimming area? I’d also add some trash cans on the beach.

Overall, our family had a great experience! They are still working on finishing the water park and still getting some minor ‘new resort’ items ironed out. We would definitely go back again.

Brand new hotel. Beautiful and clean. Check in was ok but can be better. The big problem is the Restaurants: No reservations and people from Diamond Club has a preference. Some restaurants there is no waiting List or buzzer. You have to be in line at 17:00 to eat or Came Back Later like 1:30 to 2:00 hours later and no guaranty that you will be served. Big problem. Ridiculous. Buffet is big but is just One place for a lot people. Food is so so. The hotel needs to understand that people pay for room and Food and everything else. All Inclusive. They need to provide a Reservation to the restaurants. Room is real good and the bed is perfect. AC works great. Good view. Nice pool and nice beach. Good entertainment at night. Good bars and good workers Like Aldair at swimming pool bar. I really do not came back if they do not change the way to have a better access to the restaurants. A lot people was very disappointed.

The Pros: -The rooms are fantastic. -The buffet restaurant was terrific -The pool, lazy River, slides, kid’s club were all great. -The staff put on a great show every night The Cons: -The beach was unusable because of the seaweed situation -All the restaurants except for the buffet were awful. The steaks at the Steakhouse were tough and chewy. We waited 30 min for dessert to come and then asked to leave because they needed the table for the next reservation. Never did get the dessert. The food at Smoke which was their BBQ restaurant was inedible with also poor service. It is almost inhumane how they make you go through hoops and beg for reservations at restaurants that are completely substandard. Stick with the buffet. -There was no dedicated area for towels. You need to find a staff member every time. -There were not enough deck chairs for everyone at the resort. You need to wake up at 6:00 am to reserve a spot by placing a towel on a seat or you’re out of luck for the entire day. -They make you sign a contract to agree to pay $95 per day for the remainder of your stay if you lose your room key which you wear as a bracelet. -Be prepared to tip or be prepared to be ignored. Overall this was a nice resort. Brand new and very safe and clean. However I would not recommend it until they improve the sit down restaurant, completely get rid of their obsession with reservations and improve some of the service.

Nice and clean hotel with attentive staff. Buffet was good but other dining options had long waits and food was not prepared very well. Bartenders both inside and at pool bar were awesome. Even though hotel was not full, very limited seating out by the pool. The beach needs some work, it was full of seaweed during my stay. The spa was well worth it with the service and amenities.

The hotel is new, so the property is nice, parts are still under construction. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom layout is really convenient. Diamond Club is definitely worth it, just for the dinner reservations, otherwise it’s a 1-2 hour wait for the property restaurants. We had a bad experience with the butler service, which was basically nonexistent, this was the biggest disappointment. The one time we ordered room service we cancelled after an hour when it still wasn’t ready. On the positive side, the staff at the beach and the pool were awesome, really friendly and helpful; they made our trip memorable!

I have no complaints in general everything was very good the food the hotel in general is excellent the only detail was that the cleaners stole $520 from my dad who was in the room next to me $80 from me and a pair of Rayban glasses keep everything from valuables in the safe until they solve this problem
