Beautiful property. Staff made us feel like we were the most important people attending their resort and tended to every need with a smile. Restaurants were above average. Ocean had a lot of seaweed but that’s on Mother Nature, not the resort. Highly recommend to anyone.

We booked our trip last min. Traveling as a family with teenagers I couldn't of been happier. This resort is a family resort and away from all the "college spring break" chaos, so if you are looking for a nightlife don't come here. Free and great wifi, tennis, beach volleyball, five pools, pool tables, ping pong, teen center along with kiddie center, rooftop tennis court and mini golf. Family friendly evening shows, small beach- no wave but we read about this in other review. Three great restaurant's plus adults only restaurant and great buffet restaurant. Inhouse excursions desk if you need to get away for the day. Everyone staff member we met was amazing, polite and friendly. Safety is also top on their priority list as well as food allergies. - The only negative thing I have to input is not enough umbrellas at the main pool, so if you want shade you need to put towels down by 7am. Pretty much all pools besides the adults only pool fills up by 10am.

Returned last night from a 6 night stay at the Sensira. Here are the good and the bad from my perspective: Pros: - Smaller, walkable property - Great service! - Good balance of kid friendly and adult-only areas. - Pergolas/cabanas are great, if you can get up early enough to snag one - Good service by the pool. I saw other reviews mention slow service, but I saw the opposite. Props to those guys hustling to cover big areas down there. - Galerie de Sens is amazing. E-mail the concierge well in advance to reserve this 10 course dinner experience (adults only) - La Finca de Ana was also very good for a foodie (although not a ton of simple, 'American' mexican food choices) - The adults only Amber lounge is a great place to unwind. Nice indoor and outdoor portion, great snacks - Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms Minor quibbles: - Lots to do for younger children, but less to do for teens. They are a hard age, but this place could use an arcade or something. 'Teens Club' and Serendipity above it mostly devolves into a bunch of little kids running around. Maybe open the 'nightclub' earlier for a teen-specific hour or two? - Zip line was broken/closed our whole trip - Hours on the website were consistently wrong for all bars - No drink menus anywhere. I know they can make anything, but I want to see options! - There are heavy chairs and benches in each room that screech loudly when moved a little by either the occupants or housekeeping. It happens a lot, and it is loud!

The property is great. The problem is it is next to impossible to get a dinner reservation and you need a reservation for all restaurants. If you call ahead to make reservations they will charge you. As soon as we arrived on property we tried to get a reservation for every night of our stay (4 nights total) and our earliest reservation was at 9:00pm, which was frustrating. However, we found that if you take the 9:00pm reservation and show up at 6:00 or 6:30 they will seat you.
