Huge resort with many pools, activities, and a nice beach. Multiple buffets for all meals. Restaurants are so-so, except the Teppanyaki. That one was fantastic. Food was served nearly raw inside (chicken and steak) in two of the other restaurants. Staff were hard-working, mostly friendly.
Lots of onsite activities, though with limited times for the size of the resort. Fun when we made it to the designated hour per day.
Still had a good time, other than the whale shark excursion. $1,000 for our family of 5, with 4 hours of travel and literally 2 minutes in the water with the whale sharks. We were coerced by the excursion staff to do this. Big mistake.
Other than this, nice, clean, huge resort with overall good food in the buffets, activities (pool volleyball, beach volleyball, kayaks, catamarans), and nightly shows.
