First stay in Mexico. Amazing resort. staff waits on you hand a foot. Drinks aren’t watered down. Food selection is good. Pools and view are amazing. Room was better than expected, and they treated us for our special occasion. Will definitely stay again

No warning that a section of the resort is still being constructed, very noisy poolside from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. another thing found extremely frustrating that I needed to sign for every meal and drink with all-inclusive status. Garza is not for the average person but more cater to upper class which I am not and I felt out of place at times. Reserving a lounge chair or Cabana at the poolside was a joke as usual, however if you tip the pool attendance they will be glad to reserve a favorable spot. The Beach was very Rocky and not as advertised. Butler service was a nice but seemed over worked as it took time for response. Being an all-inclusive resort I found it really annoying you needed a reservation for every restaurant, it would have been nice if they had a walk-in buffet/restaurant that didn't require a reservation. Overall for the price point I will not be returning to Garza Blanca Cancun.

I liked the location and view the hotel had to offer. Nice luxury look to the hotels and rooms are nice. I don’t like the delay between most restaurants waiting time to be served and to get your food. The people from the timeshare are the first to greet and let me tell you huge turn off! At that point I wanted to end my stay. The hotel is new but needs a lot of work and improvements. I’m not sure if I would give it another chance after all the things we went through that are not listed here.

The property is gorgeous, but potential guests should know that they hotel is not finished and there is construction going on right next to the beach and pools. After awhile, you get used to the noise, but it was a bit surprising. That said, it’s a spectacular resort and the pools are amazing. The service was also excellent, as was the food.

The property was new and the property is really nice, food quality was really good, gym and spa are really nice and the pools and general facility really well maintained overall. I was disappointed the beach is not really swimmable, there is lots of seaweed. The service was inconsistent, we had either really exceptional service at the restaurants and around the pool or it was terrible. It varied by individual, More consistent training is required for the staff. Also the in some areas there was a sewage smell, it was not the entire hotel, just some isolated areas, for example when we stepped out of the elevator to our floor the smell was there the whole time, but not in the rooms and not in the lobby or other floors. They acknowledged the issue and said they are trying to rectify but we did not see an imporvement during the 10 days we were there.

Very nice and clean property, likely because its new. Beautiful large rooms/suites, excellent bathrooms. Great architecture/design theme. Horrible staff, they just simply ignore you, extremely slow service, lazy workers, lack of much buffet options. Even to eat dinner buffet, you have to make reservations which is odd. Pls don't go to the "special presentation", they market it as just a breakfast and will only take 90 minutes. It takes half of your day easily. Starts off very nice as a breakfast and then quickly turns into a pressured sales pitch. The attitude changes very quickly to anger and disrespectful behavior if you decide not to purchase timeshare/invest in company. Then you are pressured to give phone numbers/contact info for your friends back home for the company to contact and deliver the sales pitch via email/phone. If you say no to that, then they start getting angry. Overall very clean resort, lack of buffet options, need to hire and train more staff.

There was a significant sporadic noise coming from the floor above ours, it happened during the day and night hours. Sounded as if people were moving furniture, but obviously that wasn’t the case. We’re told that it was related to the SPA located above our floor, probably linked to building plumbing problems. Very disappointed we spent two NOT good nights of sleep at that room before being switched to another with a different view. I should mention that during the second night there was a party in one of the hotel rooms that lasted well pass 2 am. We had to go downstairs to complain before action was taken to address the problem with your guests. The noise coming from that room was very loud, you could actually see rooms turning their lights on to see what was going on. Security of the hotel should have taken actions before it became a problem, we were awake past 2:30 in the morning Dining seem luxurious with plenty of choices BUT time between appetizers and entries were more than an hour. At Dao’s we had reservations for 6:30 left the place pass 10:30. Same issue was confronted at Abocados restaurant were appetizers were brought cold after soups. Main entry took a long time thereafter to be brought to our table. A resort this expensive should not have issues such as those referenced above. I could probably have the same experience at a lower cost all inclusive resorts.
