The room was good enough for sleeping and relaxing after a long day, and all the basic necessities were available. We were very surprised how nice the hotel was. Beautiful pool area with a well groomed beach. The staff work hard at keeping the hotel clean. We found the staff helpful and pleasant. Although it is an older hotel that could use some updating the hotel was very clean, restaurant food was okay. I was reluctant to book due to the reviews. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our stay. We had a room with a king size bed that was very comfortable, the room was very clean. The couch in the room was old and stained. Our room overlooked the beach/pool it was a beautiful view. The room had a jacuzzi, with a restroom faucet, it would take hours to fill up and hot water would turn cold. Very inconvenient. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. Beautiful view to the pool area and ocean. None of the jets/buttons did anything, which was pretty disappointing since we did pay extra for it. The view of the ocean from the room was great. The breakfast we ordered off the menu in the restaurant was bland. The pool area is nice, and the location right by the beach was also fantastic. Overall we had a wonderful trip. Staff was nice and attentive. However, the pictures are not giving Holiday Inn vibe but the real hotel does. Being on a street with bunch of fancy hotel, Cyan has no signs, nothing for new tourists to recognize it. We rented a car and had to drive around for 15 min asking different security staff from neighbor hotel just to find a way in Cyan. Parking lot was small though.
