The hotel is modernly refurbished, at the airport, and very convenient. It was a rainy night and midnight, when our aeroplane landed at Terminal 3. It was dark and slightly rainy. There was no shuttle after 10 pm. We decided not to walk over. Instead, we took a private taxi from vendors on the sidewalk. The hotel is at the airport, just one block from Terminal 3, and the taxi, which was unrelated to the hotel, said they would charge U$10 but forced us to pay in pesos at the rate of 500 Mexican That works out to U$33 - we got scammed! So annoying! The hotel itself was nice, and the breakfast is good. The cost of breakfast is a few dollars less at the hotel than the rate on-line. The hotel has a nice sundeck, a ring-like pool, and a gym. There is a bar and coffee lounge, and a very small store for milk, cookies, and small snacks. The receptionist kindly gave us a 1 pm checkout instead of the standard 12 pm, as we were tired from a late arrival the night before. No Uber or Didi is available, and the staff kindly arranged for an “Etransfer” taxi for us to take us into the city. Overall, our experience was that the Hilton Garden Hotel a convenient, 3-4 star facility for overnight stays at Cancun airport.
