The room and common areas were very nice. We liked the overall layout of the resort, but the explanation of Diamond and Hideaway should have been more clearly defined. It was confusing which areas and restaurants we had access to. Compared to other all inclusive resorts I’ve visited, staff was not very friendly. Our visit was during the Covid-19 situation, so staff and guests were reduced, but even with very limited guest occupancy at the time of our visit we found staff to be more concerned with their own conversations than assisting guests. We finally found a pool waiter we connected with on the second to last day of our trip. He did a fantastic job! Buffet had many options, but food quality at buffet were average at best. We had limited options for restaurants because of closures but the ones we tried (steak house and Italian) were fantastic!
