"Since the first minute harassment didn’t stop regarding their membership they started after checking in claiming that they will help with luggage, even when I told them we are tired and kids are hungry they won’t leave us as lone, calling every morning and 2 different people still did the same after checking out they will not leave you alone even if you tell them directly and repeatedly to do so . Last one was rude Pools were not clean, my son got cut in his foot from dirty pool, it took them 50 minutes to get one to help clean his wound They offered free bowling game as a compensation if we sign a release !! Food was ok/ average at best no taste and change in the buffet The cleaning and restaurant staff were amazing , nice and hard working people . Spa treatment less than average This was our worst Cancún experience out of 6 visits in the last 7 years Lastly we received 2 phone calls at 4 am in the last night asking if we requested help with luggage ( they were calling the wrong room 103 instead of 203 ) The welcome gift was 10 dollars bottle of wine I’m sure the previous visitor left it behind same as we did to the next person Hotel credit was a joke most items not included and if you don’t mention to the shop they won’t give it We stayed in Moon the grand from June 4th till June the 9th"

"The Good: the property was very clean and laid out very nice. You didn’t have to walk far for anything. The restaurants were good too. All of them were good quality with great service. There were plenty of activities for the whole family and plenty of pool space. There are shuttle services and excursions you can do directly through the resort to limit third party usage. The rooms were nice with great views. Side Note: it’s Cancun, so seaweed season is prevalent and can come at any time, which was the whole week. The Bad: the resort salesman will try to get you to become a club member right after your check in. They will use words like “free” and “gonna give you this”. The trade off is you have to attend a special breakfast the next morning to obtain certain benefits with is basically a giant sales pitch. We declined this but were subsequently confronted by staff in the next two days and received calls to the room from supervisors asking why we didn’t want to spend a bunch of money and become a member. This annoyed me and I don’t like being annoyed on my vacation that I already spent a pretty penny for(it’s a 5 star resort) Half of the pool area is no swimming due to being allocated for paddle boarding. We asked if we could get a paddle board but they said someone broke it weeks earlier. How does a billion dollar property not get ahold of a paddle board??"
