Terrible! Do not go here! It’s not like the pictures on Expedia. The beach is unusable because of sargassum. Pool was filthy, with dark brown diesel fuel floating on top of the water (from the equipment they used to try to clear the sargassum which is impossible because of the sheer amounts of it). Rooms were moldy, woke up with sore throats from how bad it was. Trash all over grounds throughout the resort. Not well kept. Three out of four of us got extremely sick from the food served at their restaurants. We requested to be moved, Moon Palace refused, but offered us day passes to The Grand if we signed a release of all claims during our stay and didn’t post on social media. We did not sign. We requested full refund. Hotel denied. Save yourself the money and your family an unpleasant experience! Shame on Moon Palace. And shame on Expedia for letting them post pictures of white sandy beaches and clear blue water. This is not what you get when you stay at Moon Palace.
