Even the staff member that brought us to look at the room sad bad smell . So we did not upgrade to ex club for remainder of trip We loved our view from our room. Beach and pool. The other thing too is the horrible smell of the sargassum. It’s soo soo bad. We wouldn’t eat breakfasts outside. Just aweful and really at the club pool the smell was bad off the ocean. We were happy to stay at the pool inside and father away from water. It’s too bad about the sargassum we love walking the beach but it was unbearable- the smell and looked so bad. Overall the hotel was great some meals good some meals just ok. Breakfast was amazing French and Asian was great too. Honestly we did have a Chance to eat at the expensive restaurant part of the ex club. I don’t think it’s worth the money the steak was so much better at French restaurant and I ordered the lamb chops and i couldn’t even cut thru it. So tough. I am celiac. The staff was great with my dietary needs. Big bonus. Thank you all. Also we did the spa. Not to be missed best experience I ever.
