Loved the resort

The property itself was great. Good location and easy to get around. Ronna and facilities all in good order. The let down was the food and the outlet. We stayed for 9 nights. During our stay two of the restaurants were closed for Reno’s at the same time. As well the variety wasn’t very good. Felt like the same items being used over and over with a different sauce. We essentially lived off wings and fries for meals other then breakfast. This was the big disappointment. This was our 4th trip to cancun in the last two years. Unfortunately the food here was by far the poorest in variety. We felt bad. The staff were excellent the resort was maintained and clean but the food side was a major let down. Even the authentic items were dialled down a bit and lack that little extra that we associate with Mexican cuisine.

Overall, this is a beautiful place with excellent service. We will definitely return soon, my husband loved it so much that he wants to move in! We especially appreciate the outstanding service we received from Cynthia at The Reserve pool area. She deserves a 20 out of 10! We would also like to recognize Julio from The Reserve coffee shop, Rigoberto from Santé, and the two pool concierges, Giovanny and Mikele. Sofonia even became my husband’s favorite bartender eventhough he was at the lobby, my husband used to go every day for a welcome drink. Allison from Guest Concierge was also amazing and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and the drinks and coffee were excellent. The massage I received was spectacular and made the experience even more relaxing and memorable. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special!
