Great food and family-friendly service, but the rooms don't match the 5-star label. Pros - Restaurants were the highlight: Davino (our favorite — we went back a second time our last day), Zamá (food excellent), Legends (excellent food and service), La Casona (food great, service a bit clumsy). Caprichos breakfast had the usual buffet spread with good service. Bite Bar lunches were convenient by the pool and jacuzzi. - Check-in was quick, and our rooms were ready two hours before the regular time — much appreciated. - Staff were friendly and the atmosphere is genuinely family-friendly. Cons - Room quality: on Oct 3 we had to change two of our three rooms — one had a 3 foot ceiling leak dripping onto the bed (woke us at 6 AM), the other had no hot water and barely a trickle of pressure. Replacement rooms promised at 11 AM were pushed to 12:30 PM. - The HVAC at Caprichos leaked from the ceiling every single day — you had to pick your seat carefully or get drips in your food. - WiFi was awful: slow, frequent disconnections, often no internet while still "connected." - Despite being all-inclusive, we had to sign a check with every order, which made each transaction feel awkward and forced. - Beach was full of seaweed despite daily clearing — not really their fault. - Caprichos buffet had no desserts, which you'd expect at a resort.

Fue decepcionante esta 2da vez q fui la verdad no volveré, la habitación q me dieron tenia un persona dentro mantenimiento dentro de ella o sea no estaba lista, ya no.ponen música y los q llevamos bocina nos hicieron bajar el.volumen, no tenía acceso a todas las picinas, puertas del balcón q no sirven duchas no funcionan, mal olor baños externos, elevador se demora mucho tiempo, quise devolver mi toalla y llevaba prisa xq me tenía q ir al aeropuerto el señor q las recibía a las 9am llego 9.18 y aun así me hizo esperar a que desempacar todas las toallas q llevaba para acomodar

What an AWESOME experience. My wife and I have been to the Caribbean a few times, three times to Cancun. We have never had a better experience than here at this spectacular resort. This rated as the top in Cancun and we agree, Better experience here than the Haven Suites on NCL cruises. Arrival champagne, personnel escort to the Excellence Club; an easy check in, then onto a swim up suite that you have EVERYTHING you could ask for. Great location, out the door into a pool with a personal hammock you can share with your loved one. A large pool and hot tub, right outside your room and a bar within 50 feet. The main pool was closer, a great view of the pool and beach. The kept the minibar well stocked with our beverages and snacks of choice, all included in the package. 24 hour room service and the service was fantastic. A restaurant dedicated to the Excellence Club, a buffet which really is not a buffet, it is a Global Foodcourt. Breakfast and lunch was absolutely AWESOME each day we went, The restaurant on the beach has the BEST fish & chips I have had in years. The Smash burgers in the Sports Bar were totally insane and went great with all the college and NFL games. Coming here on a weekend, you will be able to watch your favorite NFL teams here. The people were awesome. We spent a week, we received the Hydro-Therapy via our trip booking through Expedia - wow what a treat. THIS IS THE RESORT TO STAY AT WHILE IN CANCUN!!!
