This resort has been rated a 6 out of 10 for a reason! 1. While booking this stay, I was offered their transportation service for an additional fee. We purchased their shuttle service, and on the day of pickup, we were at the airport waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes to be picked up. Come to find out, they forgot to schedule the transportation and only reserved it in once I called and asked when they were coming. They never apologized nor offered me compensation. 2. Most importantly: This resort is NOT a ALL inclusive resort. Their food selections are minimal, because most restaurants aren’t a part of the “all inclusive” package. There are many bars, pools, beach areas and live music spots, that we couldn’t use because it wasn’t included in our all inclusive package. They told us we could purchase the pyramid “all inclusive” which was the TRUE all inclusive. This would’ve been nice to know before purchasing. The up charge was $53 (USA) per person, per day. For my wife and I, that would’ve cost us $742 extra. With that add-on, I could’ve used the same amount of money and went somewhere nice. There were also restaurants that was included in our package but it was closed for the season. If you’re a foodie this is NOT the place. The food was mediocre, and the buffet regularly served cold food. Who knows, maybe the good restaurants are with the premium pyramid up-charge? On a positive note, the pools are pretty nice, the fitness center 👍

First I want to just say I will never go back to this Resort again in my lifetime. It was not what I expected for my 55th Birthday Celebration not at all. Food was horrible I had to tip just to get a good waiter to serve me every day my breakfast so I could have something good to eat like bacon because it wasn’t served on the buffet in the morning with my omelette. Also if you don’t make reservations for dinner by 9am at any 3 of their restaurant. You will Only eat at the Buffet. The resort lost power on Thursday and I had finally gotten to eat at their Brazilian steakhouse, but it was so smoky couldn’t eat dinner due to them not having electricity. I had to go back to my room. Not a good vacation and Plus they will try to talk to you about some type of timeshare thing but tell you it’s not. I give this place a ⭐️⭐️⭐️

There is construction going on in three buildings, so you go to sleep with noise and wake up to it too. The AC also barely works at night. There is a dress code for the restaurants, but you only really find out once you’re there. No buffet either. After you order, expect to wait at least 40 minutes, and everything comes out separately. Our room was advertised as ocean view, but we got a pool view instead with almost no privacy. We asked to change rooms and they refused. Airport transfer was $200 even though the website says it’s free for stays of 3+ nights. Drinks were very hit or miss, minibar only gets restocked when a bottle is completely empty, and the spa is only free once for 30 minutes. Most treatments for two are around $400–500. Based on our experience, I also would not recommend this hotel for LGBT couples. For this kind of money, the service and attitude were just not acceptable.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and well maintained.. Unfortunately, the service was just average. Some of the staff at the reception area came across as very pushy and inconsiderate which made us feel uncomfortable. At the restaurants, we also felt rushed while eating. The waiters and waitresses seemed impatient for us to finish our meals rather than allowing us to enjoy our dining experience at a relaxed pace. Overall , the hotel itself was lovely, but the service could be much more welcoming, attentive and respectful of guests time, comfort and dining experience.
