"Great Family Experience"
This was a great hotel to bring your children to for a fun stay. The rooms were nice, the carpet was a little loose, and after walking on them in bare feet, the bottoms were black. That was a little disappointing. The restaurants were a little pricey for me, but looked good, and had a nice selection! I would definitely stay here again.

"Love the Stay/Hate the Food"
The front desk service was excellent friendly and quick. Cleaning services were friendly and helpful. The Concierge was helpful, friendly and understanding. The family swimming area and kid zone were GREAT. The small pool was heated and relaxing, the large pools was great for family fun and the corkscrew slide was a good addition. Kids play room has a lot of activities for the children, rolling vehicles, play house slide, giant connect four game, arts and crafts. the staff were always great. available from 7am till 11pm. Well for all the great activities and times we had at the Chelsea Hotel, and we would greatly recommend staying here, we do not recommend eating here. The change in the atmosphere with the staff is palatable. The prices and food comparable to a sit down family restaurant, but the is no table service, its cafeteria style. Its a little confusing when you first walk into the Market garden there is no direction or course to follow and hotel staff had to explain how it works as you walk in (Only at breakfast). I had ordered the "Prime rib burger" ($14) with julienne fries (Shoestring fries) and watched the Chef cooking my food gouge my burger with his tongs and peel back the meat to see if it was cooked. This is not very professional and shows lack a of experience and a concern for me that such a great hotel would have such low end talent in the kitchen.

"Excellent central hotel"
Set in the middle of the financial district with access to plenty of excellent restaurants and close to the Eaton Centre. All the staff where excellent with special reference to Shay (concierge), George and Kevin (door / porters). Room was great though a tad stingy with the tea and coffee provisions. Pool and sauna a great way to end gruelling days getting around Toronto - the weather was extremely hot during our visit. Hotel could do with more facilities within the lobby area but just being pedantic. Make sure you get to Niagara falls as the boat trip to the falls is fantastic. The zoo is great as well but a fairly long trip though the subway and buses around Toronto are easy and very cheap. Plenty of coffee houses near by and make sure you use the PATH as it is a great way around the city. Restaurants we really enjoyed (we did not have a bad meal in our 2 week trip) include: Joeys and Spring Roll (actually opposite each other) and Jack Astors.

Only thing I didn't like was the 7.99$ charge for wifi , for the price of the room wifi should be included or incorporated into the price of the room

"Fine for the purpose, lousy and expensive Internet"
The hotel is geared to business travelers so it is no-frills and masculine in decor but all of the basics are in good condition except WiFi. I paid $11CDN for the "premium" level and it would not stay on for more than a few seconds and certainly not to stream. For a business traveler that does not seem acceptable. When working in the lobby it was good.
