"The oldest (continually run) hotel in Toronto. "
This is a very contemporary hotel, but if you plan on staying on a Friday or Saturday night, please take note that there is a bar / club on the lobby level and if you're looking for quiet, you might hear some noise. They DO provide ear plugs in your hotel room, but it's quite lovely and if you are driving, I would suggest you pay the $25 a day to park across the street in the Gladstone Cafe parking lot. Your car should be very safe there, plus there is only one street you can park on (IF you can find a parking spot). The Streetcar picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel !! It's quite a nice experience though and I would stay again.

"Love this hotel and concept. Located well"
Overall the place is really nice, comfortable and accommodating. The bed was on casters (moves a lot), and behind all the pretty finishing, was a very visible plywood. A small heater was provided to keep warm, and some whistling from the windows, since its a bit windy. Still recommended, and had an awesome stay! Parking was kinda crappy and expensive.

"Well located, quiet, great customer service."
I previously stayed at the Windsor Arms more than twenty years ago so I wasn't sure what to expect this time - but the experience was a good one, the room was comfortable and had some character to it, unlike the chain hotels that compete with it at this level. Despite its central location, the room we were in was notably quiet. The staff here do everything right - never obsequious but always attentive. We both enjoyed the understated excellence of the hotel. We were in Toronto visiting friends so we didn't use the restaurant ... but plan to on our next visit.

"A gem in downtown Toronto!"
Great hotel at a very reasonable price. We walked to and from the Air Canada Centre for a Springsteen concert. The next morning we walked to Billy Bishop airport for our flight home. Ocho is within walking distance of Chinatown, Kensington Market etc. We are a couple of 60 year olds who like to walk the streets of cities we visit. We also like to stay in boutique type hotels. In our future visits we will definitely stay at Ocho.

"Location, Location, Location"
Classy, clean boutique hotel with top notch employees who were cheerfull and helpfull. The location is perfect for theatre goers and Rogers Centre events. Lots of good restaurants and cafes in the area. The hotel has a very good breakfast and lunch menu and has a small bakery as well. There is a Chinese restaurant, which looks popular, but we did not try this time. We will definitely go back there!

"Great for short stays"
Went down for a Leafs game. About a $10 cab ride or 10 minute walk to the ACC. Restaurants and Market within walking distance. AM breakfast good; rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay

"'Quirky' hotel in downtown Toronto"
Very comfortable 'boutique' hotel located in downtown Toronto. Staff very friendly and helpful. A cultural venue in addition to being a hotel. Live events many nights. Saturday night was very lively but I couldn't hear the music in my room, so sound proofing good. Good restaurant and a simpler cafe selling the same menu. I ate in both. Room was very different from the normal run of the mill chain hotel rooms. Located in an area with a range of restaurants, bars and pubs.
