"I like the Sandman but I must admit that the small kitchen section always seems to need a bit of repairs. This time it was the door of a cabinet which was missing a handle. The last time it was the fridge."

"New hotel in Toronto entertainment district. Conveniently located to lots of restaurants, entertainment venues and subway. Good breakfast buffet at the property. Room was comfortable and kept clean and staff friendly. There were a few issues (that might be associated with a new property). We had to mightily yank the room door shut to get the door to lock, for example (which was surprising for a brand new hotel). Also, the elevators didn’t seem to have sufficient capacity for their busiest time of day (9 am). The TV remote was difficult to use. It was little details like these that caused me to rate it as good rather than excellent."

"I was very nice to not have to share a room with our daughter! The staff were very helpful. having a convenience store and subway on-site was a major perk. only down side is having to pay $5 for an empty laundry card, then having to load it to do laundry"
