The room is very small. You can hear exactly people talking right beside your room. It’s stressful when kids non stop shouting in your next room at midnight.

A hotel oozing with period features, certainly not a concrete, glass and steel box! Can access hotel from rail station without going outside - handy in a very cold March. Bathroom a bit small and dated but in keeping with age of building

We enjoyed our stay at Fairmont Royal York. The hotel smells so good as you walk in! The lobby has been beautifully renovated. We appreciated its central location and it was less than a 20 minute walk to where ever we needed to go, otherwise it is right next to Union Station to get nearly anywhere. Library Bar had delicious drinks and food. Only negative was that although our room was lovely, walls were too thin and we could hear everything.
