Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel

135 Carlingview Drive, Toronto - Map
the hotel was in a location that was off the main beat. The area was dark and poorly lit. The area seemed to be in an industrial area so there were few attractions nearby. the shuttle was old and dirty. One of the passenger seats was totally broken.

"Great location "
Very close to where we wanted to be. Room was great, but supplied soap & shampoo for one - we were two. Parking is a bit tricky. P2 is not well signed & difficult to find your way to the exit.

Edward Village Markham

50 East Valhalla Dr, Markham - Map
toilet ran on and made quite a bit of noise for several minutes - annoying. The closest ice maker did not work - lots of noise and no ice. the others several floors below were not much better but did produce ice. These were the negative points . everything else was very good.

"Clean and comfortable. Staff very courteous."
Stayed the night before our flight to the Dominican. On the return flight booked to stay on our return. Very modern, clean rooms. Staff very friendly. Restaurant on site was good. Fairly close to the airport with free shuttle service. Liked that we could park the vehicle on site for the week we were away.

Ramada Plaza Toronto Downtown

300 Jarvis Street, Toronto - Map
"Downtown Toronto"
Convenient location downtown although not in the best neighbourhood. We staid there for one week to visit friends and we liked it overall. Good facilities, used the sauna and the pool, and the room was great. Breakfast is quite pricy for its quality though. Easy to walk to most places downtown from there.

Cambridge Suites Hotel - Toronto

"Nice but with a downside"
The free wifi is non-existent. If you want to use it it has to be before 7:30am or it will grind to a halt. They are doing renovations now, and the walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything going on through the vents in the other rooms. On Wednesday night I heard a couple having sex where the female was very vocal, through the vents. The person Pamela who was cleaning my room did a nice job, but it's just a hotel. Nothing exceptional. My bed was very 'worn-in' so there was a big gap in the mattress where everyone sleeps.
