Considering we are still in a pandemic and the hotel was almost empty, I thought service would be great. BIG MISTAKE. I booked one night as my nearby condo was undergoing a night of electrical changes. I booked this specifically as the EXPEDIA ad said FREE BREAKFAST. At check-in they advised me this would consist of fruit (an apple), juice and a muffin (mini croissant) in a box (paper bag) to be picked up in the morning at the front desk. I went to my room on the top floor to discover no sanitizer in the room. I noticed there was this bad noise - like in a wind tunnel that would not stop. Just got much louder at times. Then I tried to use my laptop to do some work using the internet. The WIFI kept failing. I called the front desk when a speed test showed me speeds less than 1Mb. They called network support. who reported "all was fine". The desk clerk suggested he come to my room and "check out" my PC. I told him thanks, but no thanks. All night internet up and down. 1Mb to 20Mb. Usually simply not working. Gave up and turned to the TV. That's when I realized the wind tunnel (fan?) noise in the room made it impossible to hear. I knew my ability to go deaf would be handy! (Bi-lateral cochlear implants). At least I could sleep in silence. Horrible place. Lied about the breakfast; non-functioning free wifi; incessant unbearable wind/fan noise in the room. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
