Our stay here was very enjoyable. Jamie was a great host. Breakfasts here were absolutely delicious and we enjoyed our chats with Jamie. He helped us book our transport to the airport and his local knowledge was invaluable. This area is a great place stay. It is easy to get a bus to the city centre ...
Nice and quiet lakefront place to relax. Close to markets and restaraunt. Toronto is not too far also. Owner is very nice person. Delicious Asian cooking every morning. I like the house too. What a treat!!! I absolutely loved my 2 night stay aboard the Boatel. The hosts were friendly and helpful, enjoyed breakfast with the other guests, fantastic location and the CN Tower was just outside my bedroom window. Comfy bed, lovely room. One of the highlights of my vacation. :)
Hotel was very clean, breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Hotel staff were very pleasanr and accomodating. The only problem is there is no elevator so if you are staying on the second floor that is a problem.
Receptionist offered to help take mu suitcase up to second floor for me.
Ready to spend a day at the beach with the iconic CN Tower in the background? If you’re looking for a swanky beach hotel, Toronto is ready for you.
Yes – Toronto does indeed have beaches, and they give you a playful juxtaposition of sand and skyscrapers.
Imagine it: After a day darting between the busy city streets and speeding multi-coloured taxis, it’s time to chill out amidst the waves and sunshine at the seashore. Woodbine is the city’s most popular beach, as it’s a great spot for a round of volleyball. Bluffer’s Point, located beneath the famous Scarborough Bluffs on the north side, is a must for a good walk along with some swimming. If you’re bringing Fido, Cherry Beach (also called Clarke Beach) has an open area for leash-free fun. For something on the tranquil side, Balmy Beach is one of the quieter beaches, which makes it a perfect spot for a few hours of serene tanning. If tan lines aren’t for you, Hanlan’s Point is the favourite clothing-optional spot in town.
