Service was excellent. All of the employees that we encountered were very helpful and attentive. However, I wasn’t impressed with the location, the whole system for valet parking was really odd where you had to wait in the restaurant to get the car. I understand Toronto is a big city with traffic issues but we have never stayed at another Toronto hotel like that. The room was small and the hotel overall just looked like a remodeled holiday inn. Nothing luxurious or special like the ritz or Shangri la although it was just as expensive. I really had higher hopes for this place.

1 Hotel continues to be my favourite property in Toronto. Everything that one would expect from a hotel of this calibre can be found within 1 Hotel. And the body wash... You're going to have a hard time getting out of the shower.

Absolutely beautiful with attention to detail, eco-friendly, fantastic products and great staff. Nespresso in room and check out at 12 always a plus. We had the room with the deck access which was lovely. Loved the neighborhood too (many nice coffee shops and walkable).
