Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya - An Adults Only All Inclusive

"Dafne was an outstanding ambassador. We give her 5 Stars. She was attentive to our needs and took care of us. And checked in with us daily. The staff was great. The resort was at less than 50% capacity, therefore, the restaurants rotated being open and closed which limited our options throughout the two week stay. It’s a newer resort which is a big plus. Very clean facility in all aspects."

"The Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun is a beautiful resort. The rooms are very clean, housekeeping does a great job at keeping the room restocked and clean for the coming day. The grounds are immaculate. The detail thats put into keeping it beautiful is very evident. The pools are great with a walk up bar and water games to play in the pool. The staff are all so very helpful and all say hello to you no matter what their job is. I would give this resort a 5 star rating but these are my reasons why I cannot...they do not have a lot of activities to do if you are spending your day at the resort. More children activities vs all ages...the food at the restuarants was very disappointing. We did one restuarant each night...three of them in our opinion were terrible. The service was good but the selection offered, the serving size (small) and most importantly the taste. Not one but three different restuarants. But the Italian restuarant was our absolute favorite and the staff was exceptional. The pools were NOT handicap accessible at all. My husband and I are older and require some assistance like a handrail to help, but NOT ONE handrail was found in the public pool areas. Very difficult to get in and out of the pools. Very disappointing since a big part of our vacation was to spend time in the pool. That's all I got but its only an opinion."

"Property was beautiful and amazing. So happy we chose the Hideaway side and paid the extra for the Diamond Club as it was well worth the money. Staff was amazing and property was well maintained. Didn't want to come home!"

"Many of the staff were indifferent and seemed to be bothered to assist. Platinum Club staff members were rude and extremely condescending. I booked a 9 night 10 day vacation and Platinum staff told me no menu restaurants were available for my entire stay and I would have to eat at the buffet every day. I told the staff member to cut off my wrist band and return my money! Of course when I walked out, menu restaurants became available. My recommendation is management staff need to get out of the offices and observe what is actually happening. Oh in closing, management will deny this but if you are hispanic, you get priority and Anglos have to wait."
