"We had a wonderful trip to Barcelo Maya Caribe. We loved how big and beautiful our resort was and loved being able to walk to and explore the sister resorts- each one had beautiful details and places to see and it was fun to discover new things every day. During our stay we had two dinners that we had to reserve at the ale crate restaurants, other than that we could eat at any of the buffets. The buffets were great - food was always fresh and cooked to perfection. Fruit and fruit juices were incredible. There were “snack bars” buffet style restaurants by the beach and pools which we went to for lunch and those were great too! We did get turned away from Tokyo (one of the ale cadre restaurants) because my husband was wearing flip flops (even though most people wore flip flops or sandals walking out of there ) so next time we will bring sneakers. The staff worked incredibly hard to keep the place clean inside and outside. It was the perfect vacation without our kids but we are strongly considering planning a family trip in the future as it is a great place for kids as well!"

"-The room described on Expedia wasn’t the same size room in person. -food substitutes in restaurants such as sakuras were non existent -loud noise in mornings from construction when trying to sleep -tv is in Spanish. No English channels -Room service for Privilege members wasn’t sufficient"

"By far truly one of the best ever all inclusive resorts! The attention to detail by all the staff makes you feel super valued. I stayed on the 5th floor ocean front and Ruben from room service was exceptional and truly exceeded any request or expectation. Will definitely be staying here again!"

"My first time to this hotel/location and I can definitely say I will be back ! I loved the closeness of 5th Avenue and all it has to offer. The north beach was my favorite in the morning, and then the pool in the afternoon. The tireless efforts to remove the sargassum was amazing. The event staff was wonderful to interact with.. as was all the other staff members. So helpful and very kind. The specialty restaurants offered delicious foods, and I could always find something at the buffet I enjoyed. I was offered an upgrade to my room at arrival as it was off season, and I can honestly say it was the best decision to have that beautiful room and view! With all good fortune , I will be back next year! And bring more friends!"

"This was my first inclusive resort and I'm so glad I chose Hyatt Vivid. The staff was wonderful. I wish I could remember the name, but I can't. I went solo for my birthday. I had a mishap or misunderstanding, but Cristina, the manager, was the best and she was able to call and talk me through what happened. Now the seaweed at the beach was a lot which is natural for my understanding.i will visit again and I will be telling all my coworkers to stay here .I will be back again. Thank you for everything."
