The check in process was awful! The line was not long but the process took so long. Our rooms were not ready till pass 5pm. The elevators where not working most of our trip. We got stuck twice and reported it to the staff. It was terrible.

Huge resort with lits and lots of different things to do. Too many restaurants to list, but all the ones I went to were good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Pools were beautiful and beach was very clean.

Everything about this property was great huge swiming pools 2 kilometers of beach line over 20 restaurants and bars. Great place going back soon.

The only negative for my family was the dinning situation. Due to the resort being at capacity, we were only able to book 2 al a carte dinners. And as we were traveling with our child, those meals had to be before 7 for one restaurant as they do not allow children under 12 to dine after 7. The buffets repeated the same foods at all meals. The resorts was wonderful otherwise.

The process to sign in at the VIP premier station was deplorable. Only two staff members serving a lot of people one would disappear for a long period of time causing a bottleneck you would think that’s a premier service was more efficient and expedient. If you pay for Premier service you would think that it would be more attention to the customer needs rather than just another number 8805 I had originally ordered to queen beds because I had a small child. They gave me one king size bed on the third floor, which is unwise walking all those steps with a child of six years old for safety reasons they should prioritize first floor with those who have children.

The food quality was horrible I think most the food was frozen at some point and then reheated. The only good restaurant we had was Sapporo and we had to pay extra to eat there. The first day we checked in we waited 4 hours to be able to get our bracelets and enter our room. You would think they would throw something in for the inconvenience but no. The alcoholic drinks had very little alcohol. This place just did not meet my expectations and I won’t be coming back.

The property is huge which is why it lacks good service. The AC was not working well in the dining not elevators. Staff hesitated to sit you down at the buffets. Staff overall rude. Check in took 3 hours and three visit back to lobby after trying our room keys and did not work. Premium is not worth it. Room service terrible. Food not good. Will not go back.

We loved the pool and access to the beautiful beach. We loved the variety and freshness of food at the buffets. One server in the La Hacienda buffet room (at breakfast and lunch) was Santiago Cab- he was took great pride in ensuring we were well taken care of, he was always ready with a welcoming smile, recognizing us and preparing/offering a table for us. The a-la-carte restaurants were great too. Our favourite was Mexico Linda, in an adjoining resort. The process for reserving at the a-la-carte restaurants was a bit annoying, but we managed to visit the 4 restaurants that we wanted to during our stay. The staff were generally helpful and calm. The room was clean and thank goodness the air conditioning was excellent! The events throughout the afternoons were fun (Andy, Charlie and Johnny were always enthusiastic, energetic and fun)- especially the aqua aerobics and Zumba. The worst part of our experience was the check-in. It involved waiting in a line for over one hour. The resort management and staff seriously need to look at how to optimize the effciency of that process.
