Barcelo was amazing. Our kids loved all the different pool options. The rooms were a bit outdated but clean. The food was not the best at the buffet, but the Brazilian steak house was good. Also, you will have to get up at 5am every morning to reserve your chair by the pool and beach… it’s intense. If that was regulated more.. it would’ve been perfect! Our kids keep asking when we are going back.

The size of the room is perfect and everything in the room was good and comfortable. The beach was good but not sandy enough, I mean a lot of rocks on the beach. The resort building and paths are very good. You will enjoy walking around. Food and drinks were awesome, too many restaurants, all looks good and professional and the food was delicious.

We were upgraded to the Adults only as they needed more room at the Palace. I saw the list of ppl that were upgraded as well and they were all Expedia clients so I guess booking with Expedia has it perks.

Wouldn’t recommend this property. It’s fine if you are looking to get bang for your buck. The resort itself is average and the rooms are outdated and not well maintained. Customer service is seriously lacking.
