This was our first visit to El Dorado Seaside Palms. We truly enjoyed our time there. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious. The restaurants and bars were conveniently located around the grounds. There is a shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is rocky, so bring water shoes. You can snorkel to the reef right off the beach. Iguanas and numerous birds are everywhere. It’s absolutely magical. There are fire shows, acrobatics shows, and mariachi shows on certain nights. We stayed in a swimup junior suite. We highly recommend this room for pool lovers and those who want to layout and relax. There are plenty of Bali beds and chairs as well by the beach. Room service is available and convenient for early risers or late nighters. Our room was cleaned everyday and drinks and snacks were stocked daily. The staff will help you with all of your needs.

The grounds were very beautiful and this resort has the nicest staff of any resort I’ve been to. You can tell that this resort is older. Many of the buildings and amenities are falling apart and need significant renovations.

Pros: *The location of our room was great. We had the beach on one side and pool on the other. *Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning our room. *We LOVED our personal concierges, Patricia and Annette. They were amazing and went above and beyond making us feel special and welcome. *The grounds were clean and the staff works so hard to keep the property beautifully maintained. *We loved Mezcalitos bar. *The couples massage at the spa. Cons: *Upon arriving to our room, we noticed running water in the jacuzzi. It was dark brown. They did not give us credit, or move our room. They just came to clean it. Due to this concern, we did not use the jacuzzi. *We were told that if we did a 60 minute tour to become a "member" we could get a free couples massage. We clearly stated we did not want breakfast as part of the tour, and Betina, who gave us the "tour and sales pitch" sat with us at breakfast, and started the time after breakfast ended. When my fiance asked her to wrap up after 90 minutes, she was rude and defensive. She also walked out and never said good bye. After Betina walked out, another one of her colleagues asked us if we'd be back in 18 months, and when our answer was no, rudely brushed us off and escorted us out. *We've been to other resorts in Mexico, and this beach was very dismal compared to other beaches. Very small beach area on one side of the resort. The beach wasn't walkable. *As great as our room location was, music was loud until 1 am

Food selection is excellent - along with the restaurant types for selection. Staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Grounds are very well maintained. Nightly entertainment is varied and enjoyable. Choice of pools is good and having numerous locations to choose from for day beds. property not too large to walk and golf carts are always there if needed. DO BETTER - seems rude when at check-in and they decide to speak Spanish anomgs themselves when they are servicing you - knowing they are talking about you. Always wondered why the beds are so high?
