Quelques jours avant notre arrivée, nous avons choisi de passer à la catégorie Serenity, et nous n’avons absolument pas regretté cet upgrade. La chambre était spacieuse, très confortable, avec un lit immense et une piscine privée qui représente un vrai plus. L’accès aux restaurants réservés aux membres Serenity était également très appréciable. Un service venait chaque soir préparer la chambre pour la nuit, mais ce service s’est malheureusement arrêté après trois jours sans que nous sachions pourquoi. Les restaurants sont dans l’ensemble excellents, même si certains nous ont moins séduits. Le restaurant italien nous a particulièrement déçus : l’ambiance était bruyante et la carte ne reflétait pas vraiment la cuisine italienne. De plus, les desserts présentés sous forme de buffet ne sont, selon nous, pas adaptés à ce type de restaurant et mériteraient d’être servis à la commande. En revanche, le restaurant Olios a été notre véritable coup de cœur. Nous y avons dîné à deux reprises et avons eu la chance d’être servis par Ricardo, un serveur d’une grande gentillesse et d’une attention remarquable. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, que ce soit au buffet, très varié et tentant, ou au restaurant Tahani, accessible aux membres Serenity. Anahi, qui nous accueillait chaque matin, a eu la délicate attention de nous saluer en français, ce qui nous a beaucoup touchés.
