"My husband and I went to Kanan for our 20th Anniversary, and we enjoyed it immensely! The location is very convenient for shopping and dining. The prices are high, but that is to be expected in this part of Tulum. The hotel itself is beautifully unique with lots of natural wood and vignettes to take some amazing photos. The room is comfortable with good water pressure, nice hot water, and air conditioning. Many people commented about the loud music that plays constantly on other reviews, so we were prepared for that. I will say it was still louder than I thought it would be, but we made it work. The drinks at the hotel were pretty weak, but the food was delicious. The only other con was that the bed has seen better days. It was soft and comfy, but bowed in the middle which made it difficult to stay comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the spa and the Rooftop restaurant as well as the beach club. "

"We loved our stay here. Felt completely safe on hotel grounds and while there was a certain rusticness to be expected from huts without completely closed walls, we didn't have issues with bugs and the property was remarkably clean. Would absolutely stay here again it was amazing for the price and unbeatable location right on the beach. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay! We wanted to stay in the “hotel zone” and could walk to all of Tulum’s best beach clubs and restaurants. Room was stunning and we are pretty picky. Spacious, luxurious, AC worked perfectly (which can be rare in Tulum). There was hardly any seaweed on the beach and the water was crystal clear blue (went beginning of May). Staff was super friendly. Great value "

"Just spent 6 days at Be Tulum and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and every attentive and the hotel was immaculately well kept, even with the seaweed that is in season right now. Concierge service was great (ours was July and she took care of everything). Food was great too, and the atmosphere magical. Highly recommend! "
