The property was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. The staff was very friendly and they were very attentive. We stayed at the Cambria suite and it was everything we expected. The only thing I wish they had was a long mirror inside the suite or a better mirror in the bathroom. The mirror in the bathroom is pretty high up and it was difficult for me to get ready. Other than that it was perfect.

Overall we enjoyed our trip. Things we liked: our room, the overall look of the hotel - very cute. The beach was clean and beach chairs well taken care of. The front desk staff was very helpful and quick to respond. However, there were things listed about the hotel online that were not true. The hotel lists as an adults only venue; however, there were children staying there during our stay. Also, the website said a continental breakfast was included - it was not. The website says mini-fridge with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages - there were no snacks and any beverages you took you were charged for. I feel like the online listing should be updated to accurately reflect their current practice. We did not find that the service at the beach club was very friendly or timely. Also, the hours they were open for food/drink changed daily and it was difficult to plan meals not knowing when they would be serving.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Cambria suite. Our room was cleaned daily, staff was attentive, food and drinks were very good, and fairy priced. If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place for you. The water in the shower is a bit salty but you quickly get used to that. Location wise this property is close enough to all of the beach clubs but far enough that the music doesn’t disturb during the night. We thank you for your hospitality and for having security during the night by the beach entrance and the main street.

Absolutely horrible experience my boyfriend and I had here we left one night to stay at another hotel our family had we left our belongings passports and $4,000 in our safe and the next morning the hotel got shutdown by local police and government due to unapproved construction the staff at the hotel took our belongings and placed it in their sister hotel however the staff who cleared our room took it upon themselves to open our safe without our permission and stole the cash that was inside our safe. the safe weighs less than 20 pounds and could have easily been transferred over without being unopened. The time the incident happened was at 8 am and I was not contacted by the hotel until nearly 11 am almost 3 hours after. The customer experience after was extremely horrible the manger of the hotel took days to respond and was absolutely nasty when replying back and has not helped us one bit. It took me days of fighting with the social media team just to get in contact with him. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. If you are looking for a good place to stay check out “Mia by Selina”, Tago and “Ana y Jose” those are good resorts in the area. Do not come to the orchid beach house and do not trust the staff there

The property is small but beautiful you don’t need anything else. The beach is amazing, staff super friendly and helpful, but the bathrooms were not that clean, and some things are a bit rusty but we understand that because of the salt. Stay here and if you don’t like something they will do all in their hands to solve it immediately. Calm, beautiful and romantic. Besides that perfect place to sta

Orchid was such a beautiful experience! Amazing staff we had a warm welcome since the day we walked in and out! Room very clean! Beach gets clean from seaweed, so beachside is clear & the greenery was outstanding. Security on site every night! There is some remodeling happening right now by the the beach bar with mild noise but not a big deal! Overall I would definitely recommend Orchid to all my family.

Absolute gorgeous property! The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I went to celebrate our birthdays and were able to enjoy the ocean in peace with an incredible view from our room, the Cambria. Such a romantic place to visit. The sites of Tulum are super close too!

We had a great 4 night stay here! Everyone was friendly! The rooms were just as we expected! Water pressure in shower was awesome but water was a bit salty. There was a lot of seaweed and some trash on their beach but we didn’t stay on the beach so much because of the scattered showers. The last day was gorgeous and pretty clear though. We loved the welcome drinks! We would definitely stay here again! PS most of cab drivers didn’t know where this place was because it’s kind of small so we would just tell them it’s across the popular restaurant called Parole.
