"Warmest Indoor Waterpark I've Been To EVER!"
We went for my daughter's 5th birthday, the water park was super warm like a summers day and the water was really warm too. I was just sad that all of the slides weren't operational this time.

Our room was so pleasant and spacious. The whole motel was quiet dispite being very full the weekend we stayed. Convenient location with access to shopping, and major routes to and around Chicago. We have not had this nice a stay away from home on a long time.

"Extraordinary Stay!"
While visiting during Thanksgiving from AZ I stayed at this location and had a wonderful experience. I had stayed here before and knew that it was a well located and nicely maintained hotel, however; the service that I received during this stay was extraordinary. I think that the wonderful young lady that checked me in must have sensed that I was visiting family and needed a few hours of "self meditation" so she offered to send something up to my room to help me relax into my stay. I said thank you and proceeded to continue my running around to visit family, take my daughter to the mall to meet friends, etc....however; when I returned to my room I was pleasantly surprised to see a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers on the table. I was extremely thankful for this gift and for her intuitive nature and understanding. I am sooo very sorry that I did not get her name.

"Nice hotel but valet was slow"
The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to shop on Michigan Ave or in that vicinity. However, because of their location, it sometimes can be extremely hard to get in and out of the valet parking. They really need someone outside constantly directing traffic to help their patrons have access. Once we were finally able to pull in though, the valet staff was great and very nice! Additionally, we were traveling with another couple and had made a request to have 2 rooms together and they weren't able to do this for us-even though we booked weeks in advance and checked in before (technically) check-in time even began. It seemed as though the front desk people were confused by what we were asking and almost made it seem like we didn't even have a reservation (which we did and was paid for beforehand) and that we should be grateful we even had a room. We've stayed here multiple times and have always enjoyed it-which is why we continue to come back. However, this was by far the worst experience we have had there and walked away from the weekend a little disappointed in the hotel and front desk staff.

Great bathroom, great shower. Bed and pillows were just average. Actually pillows stunk but other than that room was very clean and hotel accommodated every special request. Would come back again, just would bring my own pillow lol.

"tastefully decorated hotel"
The hotel itself is very nice, has a nice big bar area that is nice when friends want to come see us at the hotel, the swimming pool is very large and clean. The hot tub was all boarded up though, and we were told it has been that way for the last 2 years. The beds are not very comfortable at all, but the rooms are a very nice size, and every time I've stayed there we always had a fridge and microwave. When we checked in on Nov 12, the girl at the desk was not very friendly, and she checked us into a room that was already occupied. Very embarrassing for us and the guest in the room. Then when we went back to the desk to tell the girl what happenned, no apology or anything, she just said that they weren't supposed to be there, and handed us key cards for another room. So I called and complained to Expedia, and we were upgraded to a hot tub room for the rest of our stay at no additional cost. That was very nice, even though the girl at the front desk told us there were no hot tub rooms available. When we are in town, our kids and grandchildren usually meet up with us at our hotel for breakfast, the Best WEstern is the only hotel that charges for that, but I will admit it was not enforced. Also, they don't have extra stuff at the front desk, like toothbrushes, aspirin, things like that in case a guest forgot something. The girl cleaning the room was fabulous, very friendly, and Victor who worked the front desk during the day was great too.
