I appreciated their generosity with extra snacks and anything you might have needed that you didn’t bring with you like a water bottle and an umbrella. The location was perfect for getting around Bucktown and a walkable distance from the blue line Western stop. A few blocks in either direction you could find great coffee shops and restaurants. It definitely feels like you're staying with family, along with a vast array of things to do while "at home" with them (you can do laundry, use the steam/sauna, play some board games, read the newspaper, soak up the sun's rays/watch the stars at night on their upper deck,etc.) along with the many amenities that it provides. The warm hospitality that Ashlee & Kat provided was out of this world - and you know that first impressions last! I appreciated every single interaction I had with them, despite being my first time staying at the humble abode - in addition, to just being my second time in Chicago!
