The hotel was clean, the room spacious, and the staff friendly and helpful. Tons of restaurants in the area with downtown and the lakefront within walking distance. Transportation options were available nearby. 2 minor negatives about our stay: the wifi was very slow. I had to use the hotspot on my phone to connect a laptop. The bar/restaurant (for which we received free drink couchers upon check-in) was closed. I would still highly recommend this hotel. It was an excellent deal at a good price.

They give you free bottled water and one free drink a night at the bar including well cocktails, beer and wine. The only issue was the free WiFi was spotty and inconsistent. It was a very pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Silversmith. Warm, welcoming and helpful staff. We had a beautiful room - very clean, spacious, with tall ceilings. The king bed was so comfy and the pull out sofa bed was above average. The location is perfect - close to Millenium park eateries and lots of shopping. The only drawbacks were the lack of usb ports and the inability to access streaming services on the tv's. I would still recommend and stay here again, however.

Loved how close it was to everything I wanted to do. Millennium Park was a 2 minute walk away. The bus stop around the corner took us everywhere else we wanted to go. The staff was very helpful in getting us around the city, telling us which transportation was easiest to take. Great hotel! Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel in a superb location. Staff was very nice and friendly. We used the self-park option and it was easy enough. The room was huge and nice. The L is close by. There is a bar / restaurant in the hotel which is convenient.

Very uncomfortable bed. The fridge in the room was very loud every time the compressor kicked in. I had to unplug. The front of the hotel is right next to the elevated train. The “El” it can get loud if you are not used to living in a city. Other than that the place was nice
