"Nice hotel right in the heart of downtown"
Great hotel. Location and the style of the hotel are awesome. Walking distance to most attractions and restaurants and Uber is very convenient. The hotel put a valet charge on our bill even though we didn't even have a car. It was corrected but the young lady at checkout didn't apologize at all - whatever wasn't a big deal. Second time we've stayed here and will stay again.

"Truly a luxury hotel in Chicago"
The Peninsula continues to be my favorite hotel in Chicago - conveniently located very close to Michigan Avenue, very attentive staff, great rooms with nice bathrooms, good selection of restaurants. The Shanghai terrace is a special restaurant in the hotel and offers a different atmosphere. I also like the Lobby restaurant with its spacious setting and great view, if you manage to get a table close to the windows.

"Great hotel, best location"
Had a great time here, such a good location. Make sure you go out back door and front door to explore different areas for different restaurants. Concierge suggested some great spots to eat. Try Shaws, La Colonial and Seasons 52 for great food. Great coffee shop in E Randolph st, a must called Intelligentsia. Bobby's bike tours were good too. Shopping a must.

"Nice, but you pay separate for internet"
By now, I would expect "nice" hotels to include free wi-fi, but I had to pay thirteen to sixteen dollars per day to access the web. That is quite frustrating. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

"Nice Hotel w/ a Good Location"
This was my first time in Chicago so I wasn't sure where to stay. I wanted something close to the main sites that I was interested in seeing but also didn't want to break the bank. I booked the small room and was still satisfied with it. I'm the type that doesn't need a lot of space so if you're like me this is a good, cheaper option. Instead of paying for a cab or booking a shuttle I hopped on the train for $3 which was awesome. The location is good and the staff was really good. I'd stay again if I ever find my way back in Chicago.

While The Magnificent Mile® is one of the best places to start a vacation, it’s hardly the only thing to see in Chi-Town.

Check out the Art Institute of Chicago, which is home to over 300,000 works of art. The museum has featured everything from Byzantium and Greek collections to Japanese prints and local photography. If you like your art a little more in the air than on the ground, head to Willis Tower. Once the tallest building in America, the tower features its own historical exhibits at the top. It also includes an observation deck you can’t miss. Don’t worry if you feel a sway; the building was designed to do that. One thing you won’t mind swaying to is the music of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Commonly referred to as one of the “Big Five” orchestras in the country, it’s been generously praised for decades.

A lavish time doesn’t have to stop once you get back to your luxury hotel in Chicago. Choose a spot that offers amenities like in-house spas, 24/7 room service, and other perks to make you feel like the world-class traveller you are. And don’t worry about paying top dollar for it. Book your hotel in Chicago right here on for the best discounts on accommodations in the city, including luxury rooms and suites.

With attractions like the symphony and The Magnificent Mile® awaiting you, you can count on nothing less than an elegant time in the Windy City.
