Ivy Hotel

233 E Ontario, Chicago - Map
"I enjoyed our stay there. Good location"
The hotel is very close to shopping on Michigan Ave, which is great. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are much more spacious than I expected with a separate room with a desk, sofa and TV, and then the bed room. The bathroom was also quite large and well appointed. My biggest issue was that all of the rooms including the bathroom was very dark. They definitely could use more lighting. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. We did have cocktails at the bar both nights, which was nice, but quite. Not an active lobby or bar scene.

"Surprise Gem!"
Unique, quirky, small hotel adjacent to the Ruby Room retail store. Clean and comfortable room. Very quiet too. Great location on Division street in the Bucktown/Wicket Park area. I didn't mind, but there are 1-3 steep floors to climb depending on where your room is.
