service and location was incredible. Rooms could use an update. Our bartender Donny was fantastic and made our experience even better. Best service we have received in a long time and we travel quite often and used to be in the industry so we have a bit of credibility on that portion of the review. Definitely would stay here again.

Hot water in bedroom did not get hot. A/C at night was not adequate and therefore I was uncomfortable and couldn’t rest well. We have stayed at this hotel for the last four out of five years for our anniversary. I mentioned to my wife that we’ll have to stay at another hotel next year.

This was probably the worst hotel experience we have ever had. I will no longer be using a third party to book a stay.. ever again. The rates are subject to change apparently. We booked 2 rooms for our teenagers and us to stay in Chicago. When we arrived we were told that our rates were doubling from 350 a night to $700/night due to capacity!? We were promised 2 rooms and we got a "2 room suite" with a couch pull out bed that I think maybe prison has better beds then the pull out we slept in! The staff was not helpful with our situation at all. The room was dirty and our towels were used, the shampoo was used and there was old coffee in our room. We had to stuff the couch cushions under the mattress and it still broke our backs.. Horrible considering we paid $700 for this one room. Then when we went to leave, we had misplaced one of our parking tickets (we had 2 cars) they charged us $395 dollars for a duplicate ticket even though the front desk told us it would be just a $10 fee to get a new one.. So in all we paid over a grand for a one night stay in a crap hotel. Also, there were kids running up and down the hallways all night, the whole middle is carved out in the hotel which looks cool, but the bar is down there so if anyone is partying down there (which it was full) then the whole place echo's all night long with screaming and laughter.. In a addition, I still have not received my points for the stay...

The hotel location is great. However, the property conditions need improvement. We booked two rooms for 5 nights and both rooms were extremely dirty and smelly. The staff didn’t vacuumed any of the rooms or change the sheets during our entire stay. The restrooms showers had hair and soap residue from previous guests. Even when I mentioned this directly to the hotel and requested cleaning. Nothing happened. This was a disappointing experience.

We booked our stay 2 months in advance. Without telling us they canceled our reservation and we showed up to the property because we had not been notified. We arrived from Florida at midnight and were not able to check in. Apparently, the manager accidentally cancelled our reservation and they had no rooms avaliable. We were forced to book an airbnb after there were no hotel reservations in the entire city because of a large event. Miserable experience dealing with this property. No compensation, barely an apology.

Good breakfast, good facilities, they have housekeeping everyday, me and my family spent all the days walking around Chicago, without using any transportation, the hotel is very well located. Besides, there is a Whole Foods Market in front of the hotel which give options if you need.

Our room was not clean. There appeared to be blood stains on the carpet and hair balls in the bathroom. The pull out sofa mattress was the worst I've every laid on. The frame was poking up through the mattress.

Had to run the hot water for 9 minutes before we could take a shower. Used the sofa bed and there were crumbs in the sheets. Hotel is in a great location and price was acceptable. Would be nice if the windows were upgraded to keep out noise. I am a sound sleeper, but woke up 4 times due to sirens!!

The location was great, with easy access to the city center. Breakfast was good. However, it is not worth it for the price. I paid 500 Canadian dollars per night. Our room was outdated, particularly the bathroom, which was not clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. The Iron was out of order, and I had trouble using it. The staff were really helpful and polite. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites. The staff all around were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Check-in with Candy was a breeze. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Pauline working that area had the most beautiful smile and was so helpful and friendly. The only reason I have a 3 star on condition and facilities is that it could use a little updating and we could easily hear other people through the A/C vents. But not a deal breaker and would definitely stay here again.
