Trying to figure out the best time to visit Illinois can be tough because of the varying climate. The state enjoys four different, distinct seasons throughout the year, so you have to consider the activities that you want to do when choosing the time to make reservations. For example, if you want to find something to do outside, it might be wise to come in the spring or the fall. If you plan on hitting the beach at the Great Lakes, the summer might be the ideal time to come.

If you plan on visiting Chicago, there are a number of different Illinois hotel packages that you can reserve. Some of these Illinois hotel deals will include a discount to sightseeing tours in the city. You can see famous landmarks like the Willis Tower and stand in a glass box overlooking the city.

Another popular destination to check out while in the Chicago area is the Navy Pier. There are several hotels in Illinois that are nearby the pier. This is a family-oriented attraction with shopping, entertainment, dining, and even cruises. If you're into history, you might want to check out the Field Museum of Natural History.

If you're more interested in finding cheap hotel deals in Illinois, you may want to venture away from the city. You can usually find a cheap Illinois hotel deal in some of the more remote or rural areas of the state. For example, Starved Rock State Park is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

"Excellent option for a night or two on the town"
Excellent location for shopping, sightseeing and dining. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. First time staying with Regency Club and it was worth it. Having a decent breakfast, snacks available throughout the day and evening hors d'ouvres made it easy to plan our main activities. No matter what the time, you could always come back and refresh yourself. Could do one large meal out per day and keep yourself satisfied the rest of the day with what was available in the Regency Club. Nice option to check out, leave your bags, spend most of the day in town, then come back and pick up your checked bags to leave hours later.

"Good location but rooms in need of a refurbishment"
Location in changing South Loop. Very affordable option with great vIews of Lake Michigan. Management was a little lacking. Room wasn't cleaned after my first night and room temp was cold with no way guest to adjust it. TV was small and installed crookedly.
