"This apartment had everything we needed! Carmen initiated communication and worked to customize our stay. It was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy the cute outdoor area, but the bed was huge and comfy and the kitchen was perfectly appointed. My favorite was the gorgeous bathroom with a large shower and thoughtful touches like Q-tips or other items a traveler might have forgotten."

"Pool was fantastic. Host was very responsive and fast with answers and solutions. Dining table was big enough for our whole family of twelve. Kitchen was stocked with lots of utensils, dishes, and cookware. House was older and needs some sprucing up but clean and sufficient. We would book this place again!"

"The house was beautiful and in a great location. The history of the home and decor was amazing. I went here with my husband's side of his dad's family. There was 12 of us. Perfect number of rooms and beds for all of us. Beautiful view of the lake. There are 3 refrigerators, 4.5 baths, 2 laundry facilities, and 4 sitting areas. Only 1 bedroom on the main floor and the rest upstairs. I would like a way to go to the water from the backyard but it was fine. The view was spectacular. Need to know - temp needs to be set to 74 in the summer, strip all sheets from beds used before checking out, wash all loads over 3 (sheets and towels but wash separately), take all trash out. Other than making sure all laundry was done for the house, we all really loved staying at this house and hope to stay here in the future!!!If you are looking for a queit, relaxing, and tranquil place to stay, this house is perfect. I highly recommend this house as a place to stay near Starved Rock, IL."

"Pics matched as shown, check in was easy and smooth. AC worked really well. There is a smoke smell from the other apartments above but no smoke smell from inside the unit. Unit was clean however did notice doorframe on front door was slightly cracked"
