Construction was not reported on Expedia. They have construction on all the floors that have the lake view. That’s the main point of staying in this area. To be by the water and see the view. Complained to manager and they gave us no compensation for this inconvenience. No amenities, thin walls, improper information marketed, and overall not worth it. Stay at the Hilton across the street.

No regular housekeeping! Requested for late check out but refused though the hotel is going empty till the time we were in around. No restroom in the lobby level since we had to wait in the Looby waiting for our pickup which was at 12.30 pm . Front desk lady was most uncooperative...

Hotels going under renovation and it clearly needs it as I had to go downstairs and asked the front desk to charge my phone because none of my chargers worked on any of the outlets. Stay here plenty of times but definitely looking forward to the changes coming up.

Enjoyed the proximity of the Sonesta to the shore of Lake Michigan and the downtown area of Chicago. We parked in a garage around the corner for half the price and it worked very well.
