The location of this hotel is great, very near Michigan Ave. at the top end of Miracle Mile, Hancock Center just a block away.
What was disappointing was the breakfast (or lack thereof) and some aspects of the room. The first morning, no breakfast, they said they were transitioning and allowed us some food from their snack area. Okay, understood, though they could have provided more typical breakfast items (how hard would it be to go get some rolls or bread, margarine, etc.?). Next morning breakfast had potatoes, prepared omelets, some meat, but potatoes cold, no milk for cereal or OJ, surprising. And the breakfast room was cold, some people wearing jackets (I had to go back and get my sweater). Next morning they said there would be no breakfast, blizzard coming (though the snow would not come until afternoon). I would think, again, they could go get some food items. We checked out early.
Room had a loose fixture in bathroom sink and water quite often hot, harder to get cold, room door a little tricky to open. So, disappointing stay. We will not stay at this hotel again. To be fair, these disappointments may be seasonal in nature. In warmer months it may not be that way.
