The setting is gorgeous, the dining room overlooking the pool area is a nice feature. Our room was beautiful and very well kept daily. It was stocked with everything we needed, even bathrobes. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bar was nice, but not used very often. I felt bad for the bartender at times. The morning breakfast was good, and a variety of things so you didn’t have to have the same each day. The pool was kept clean but quite cold for swimming. The same for the private plunge pool on our private deck (gorgeous) but very cold. This location is easy walking distance to the main town area for a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shopping for gifts, etc. Right across the street from 2 fabulous grocery stores. The beach is about 4 kms, so 1/2 hr walk or you can get a cab, rent a scooter. I loved the area and would recommend it for couples or families with older kids.
