I would get a rental next time, but to only stay in the local area because some places take you through the actual jungle with no real road to be able to get to your destination. Easy to access a taxi tho. Tip: if you are planning to go to sculpture park it’s 20 min drive and located next to the beach so pack a bathing suit to enjoy the beach afterwards. There is a nice strip over there as well with bars and restaurants along the beach. We walked the beach and found several fun things to do over there. Food in that area was pricey in my opinion (compared to the strip by the hotel).
