"Wonderful perfect beachside lodgings"
I stayed here a week with my daughter and her 19 month old baby, meeting friends with their 3 grandchildren. What a wonderful location, and low key atmosphere...tables set up inside and outside for dining, with beautiful white coral sand for the floor. ... the hotel's onsite beach was only a two minute walk from our we found both sun and shade under palm trees, sometimes staying for the whole day there ordering tacos or guacamole and chips from the beachside mini-restaurant. The beach offered perfect conditions for skim-boarding, as well as bigger waves. Not a glitzy "all inclusive" type resort, just a beautifully kept casual place. One person in our party of 9 had to do some work, so the access to wifi for multiple users in the lobby at a large table was perfect. As for rooms, there were little thatch covered cottages/rooms but because we wanted private baths, we stayed in a 10-room two story building. A big plus: no mosquitos or crawly bugs anywhere!! The staff was so cordial and welcoming, the rooms immaculately maintained with fresh linens and towels. I plan to come back with more of my children and grandchildren.

"Excellent as always"
This was our fourth trip to this resort and it did not disappoint. We had a great time and found both the facilities and the staff to continue to be excellent. The beach is really nice and comfortable. They seem to have some issues with some kind of seaweed washing up, but the work very hard to try and keep the beach clean. My only complaint is that the Wifi was a bit spotty and very inconsistent. In general it continues to be a great resort and we will definitely go back.

"Service is great"
Beautiful resort where guests are treated royally. Bar staff very attentive. We are beach people, plenty of spots on the beach to get cover. Enjoyed all the restaurants. Food was very good pool area always had something going on. Only complaint is the nightlife. Not much to do after dark. No place to dance. Shows are not our favorite. Talented dancers, just not our cup of tea. Overall, beautiful resort with top notch staff. Enjoyed the stay

Second time at the resort. Serving staff is always the best, whether at the bar, restaurant or buffet. I'm glad to see they improved on some of the "issues" they had during my first visit. Which means they do listen to complaints and act on them. Fabulous! Food is great, as well as the comfort of the room. I'll be back next year!

"Great boutique hotel in Tulum Pueblo"
This hotel was in town. This has some pros and cons. We were never far from good food along the main highway and were close to the bus station and meeting place for excursions from Mexico Kan Tours. There was a lot of noise (especially on the weekend) from the street. You probably wouldn't notice with the door shut and AC running. We were able to walk to the Tulum ruins and to the beaches/beach restaurants pretty easily. Most people, however, took a bike. The hotel was super cute! Everything about it was very inviting. I loved how small it was. The breakfast area was charming and had a homey feel to it. I loved to sit on my balcony in the mornings to drink coffee and to listen to the birds. The staff was excellent! Someone was always at the desk and greeted us whenever we came in. On the last day, we had some issues with our transportation back to the airport. The woman at the desk got on the phone and sorted it all out for us. We were impressed with her kindness and desire to help without even being asked.

" hotel close to the beach"
The hotel overall is nice, it was right in the middle of bars, restaurants, night clubs, and other grocery stores. The bad thing was we didnt have water for a day, we couldnt shower or wash our hands or use the faucet. We had to use some other room to shower and we only had 30 mins to do so. To make it worst we had to pay a fee when we checked out. On the website it said we could check out at 1 but they charged us a $20 fee because the check out wasnt 1 but 12. The staff was a bit rude when we checked out making us go change mexican pesos to dollars because they didnt want pesos to pay the fee.

"Very nice smaller all inclusive "
Great all inclusive adults only. Smaller and intimate but well done and a great staff. Do not do the Maroma property tour! It's a timeshare pitch and the typical Super pushy high pressure approach. We went just to see the property as we've considered staying there (won't - - really unimpressed even though it's a lot more than many other better hotels). The staff at Capri was excellent, food was good and typical of this kind of resort. Shows were better than normal. Beach was not good, but typical of this area. It's an older property but still has a lot to offer.
