"We love this resort, we have visited grand palladium like 12 times. Our room was amazing, building 40! Our butler's Julio and Luis were very helpful and friendly. Lizbeth, Maria1 and Maria2 at the family pool always great to see them, they are so kind. Same with Fernanda at the Nest and Viridiana always checking on us!!. They all make us feel like at home and we are always ready to come back. Thank you Palladium 😊"

"The staff was absolutely amazing, so attentive and accommodating. It was adults only, which is always fantastic. The food was good and the drinks were on point. Now the facility ... so wonderfully unique. I love an eco resort and the animals were beautiful, so stinking adorable. I would highly recommend."

"The property is beautiful. During our stay, one of the main buffet was closed for remodeling. The hotel moved it buffet to a different location, that only offer half of the selection and wait times for food to come out. They didn’t simplify the idea of opening more “reservations” spots in any of their five restaurants, that need to be booked 48hrs in advance. This must have been a last minute change because staff was not aware of the change and directed us to the wrong locations or floors. Their tacos and pizza options that were offered to us, had almost an hour wait times for the food to come out! If you are hungry, you are screwed. With luck your protein selection does not run out or they bring you the wrong pizza. Food was the only inconvenience, but one of the main all inclusive offers."

"The hotel is wonderful and everything is very well organized, but there was one thing I didn't like: there are too many people involved in resolving issues—in other words, there is a lot of bureaucracy. It seems like there is no centralized system for handling certain situations; too many people are involved in everything. Apart from that, I would return without hesitation."

"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. A must visit for kids too. They have not one but two water parks on campus for kids to enjoy. Every à la carte restaurant had kids menu and options. The staff was so lovely and helpful. We came during seaweed season but Akumal resort that is part of the complex was just a brief walk or cart ride away and guaranteed clear thanks to their barrier. We also came during rain season but rain didn’t last and we at most had one cloudy day which was still great for a pool day. Buffet was always so delicious and well stocked. Entertainment and games for guests were great also. Kendall in particular was an absolute gem and so helpful! We will definitely try to come back in the future."

"Another trip to Catalonia in the books. This is our 2nd stay at this resort and 4th stay within the last 2 years at the Catalonia hotels (2 in costa mujeras and 2 here in puerto aventuras) The good: Staff Food Location Activities Beach front Private ocean swimming right out the back door Clean pool Grounds are immaculate! Gym is great (open earlier than 630am please) Privileged room (clean/good A/C) The hotel is 10/10 We have stayed multiple times and we have enjoyed each stay. The location is great, food and pools are excellent. Staff is top notch! Angeles, thanks for the extra attention to our room asks, you went above and beyond. Guys/gals - if you seek a clean, nice and perfectly located hotel in a quiet city - this could be the place for you. I’ve stayed at the costa Mujeras location 2 times as well- and although that location is a little more updated - this is the better of the hotels we’ve stayed at in the Catalonia family of hotels. I’ve stayed in the standard rooms and the privileged and honestly they are both great options. Clean, A/C is good and good overall service. Bad: Not sure there is much to make note of here: Maybe expand the gym hours to open earlier? I’m honestly really stretching here. The walk to the golf carts can be a little long winded at the end of a night laying by the pool - maybe have a stop a little closer? You can see I’m really stretching here. We are booked for 2027 May. See you soon."
