Riviera Maya Honeymoon Vacations

I was very skeptical about staying here after reading all of the bad reviews. The first day was a little rough. But we really enjoyed our stay here. There were free unlimited water bottles our entire stay. The breakfast server and pool server was phenomenal. They made the stay so much better. Keep in mind there are certain hours for the pool bar (10am-5pm). The food was absolutely delicious, very flavorful. The drinks were even better! And very good coffee in the morning. The towels and the cabanas by the pool were free. Keep in mind that they don’t really have a beach. It’s mainly the pool that looks over the beach. A very gorgeous view. The pool was very clean, only down fall, there were tons of broken tiles. But you can tell the workers do the best they can to keep the resort nice and clean. The only negative I would have to say is the air in the rooms doesn’t work that great. And the humidity is horrible. There was sweat on the mirrors, our cups, the walls, the windows, on everything. Our swimsuits would not dry inside of the room. Only outside on the patio. The bed sheets constantly felt wet, that part I hated. Besides the humidity in the room and the ac not working that well we had a great stay. Very small intimate resort, my partner and I really enjoyed that part. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves.

Our Expedia concierges, David & Cielo, went above and beyond to make every day there special and to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff throughout the entire resort are exceptionally friendly, kind, and wonderful. Special shout outs to Emma and Jazive from POP who took care of our daughter at the baby center and babysat at night. Shout out to Alex on the PTC sales staff! Shout out to Jacob who served us dinner at the Cenote! Can’t remember our therapists names, sadly, but we also both got the best massages of our lives at the Spa. Loved all the landscaping, nature, and wildlife. Wonderful vacation! Can’t wait to come back.

Pool was amazing, rooms we switched twice and they both had issues, we meet a couple that also had to switch rooms twice and still had problems every time. All restaurants were good. Staff some were nice others weren't.

We only saw turtles when we went out of the resort and paid for the guides. The food from the buffet and room service gave us a tummy ache everyday unfortunately. The drinks were okay, there was not a lot to do to be honest. We had a decent time though and the staff was always there to help.

Love this resort. Not my first time there and won’t be my last. Really nice property and facilities, great food and vibe.

My wife and I travel as a hobby... and we travel in luxury. The Rosewood Mayakoba is the most luxurious experience we have had. The spa is perhaps the best on earth, the interior mangroves and boat rides to restaurants is such a cool experience. The rooms are literally on top of the water, private pools, AMAZING service... truly an experience that I hated to end!
