I would say that the hotel room was the best part of the hotel, very spacious and view from balcony looking over the sea viewing sea birds overhead, I would say that there's part of the room that needs updating which has been mentioned on other reviews. Fridge door was dragging on the floor when opening and cupboard door not aligned but i can only say that was my room. I would say it was a low 4 star hotel as there was not much to do, Has a pool table, dart board and some books to read in what is described as an entertainment room but there was no chairs to sit on. Food options was ok, Breakfast was the better part of the meals on offer - pancakes with bacon highly recommended. Lunchtime you could eat in the pool area or restaurant with burgers and other fast food options available. Evening was a la carte menu but don't except much of a Mexican menu, one evening it was a complete Italian menu for instance. Communication with front desk is done by Whatsapp as no phones in rooms and there is no welcome pack/folder in the rooms like is most hotels with information. Be warned with excursions that there is no room for a 60 seater bus to pickup from the lobby area so you will have to walk from 15/20 minutes to the main road to be picked up - not much fun when you have to walk back to the hotel in the dark. But any holiday experience should not be judged by reviews/feedback, it's how you adapt/cope with expectations. This one is very quiet and off-grid if that's what you want

Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and we slept very well. Gorgeous ambiance. We especially loved the breakfast and watching the sunrise with complimentary coffee. An added perk was the ability to use the cabanas at Mi Amor. Would definitely stay at Mezzanine again! Concierge was great and taxis were very easy. When we come again, we will be sure to make a stop at super aki on the way in to pack additional drinks and snacks because access to convenience stores is limited as the hotel is in the national park.

We had the absolute best time staying at White Sands via Expedia. Our Expedia concierges, David & Cielo, went above and beyond to make every day there special and to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff throughout the entire resort are exceptionally friendly, kind, and wonderful. Special shout outs to Emma and Jazive from POP who took care of our daughter at the baby center and babysat at night. Shout out to Alex on the PTC sales staff! Shout out to Jacob who served us dinner at the Cenote! Can’t remember our therapists names, sadly, but we also both got the best massages of our lives at the Spa. Loved all the landscaping, nature, and wildlife. Wonderful vacation! Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I travel as a hobby... and we travel in luxury. The Rosewood Mayakoba is the most luxurious experience we have had. The spa is perhaps the best on earth, the interior mangroves and boat rides to restaurants is such a cool experience. The rooms are literally on top of the water, private pools, AMAZING service... truly an experience that I hated to end!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property more than we expected! Everyone was super nice, helpful, & friendly. Grounds were absolutely gorgeous & food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

The moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Never experienced customer service like this before. My only regret is not staying for a couple more nights.

This was the best vacation ever! Loved the food choices, our butler Memo was amazing. The beach, the pools, the views - everything was amazing!!!
