The resort was great for families. However we have been to better hotels in Mexico and did not pay as much as the Bahía Príncipe explore Tulum. Take US dollars, they will never give you change for pesos. À la carte bookings was an absolute nightmare. For the week my group of 9 got 1 restaurant booked. Considering each room is allowed 2 à la cartes and we all together had 1 is a joke. For the amount of money we spent on this vacation we expected a bit more. Our tv in the hotel didn't work for a majority of our stay which was not ideal when you have a toddler. The buffet food was good no complaints there. Overall the resort was great for families but there were some things that were off putting

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The food was really great, and everything was amazing. The only small issue I had was a bit of a musty smell in the room, but they resolved it really quickly by providing a dehumidifier.
