On their website shows as a 5 star hotel! that is not a 5 star hotel! Everything was old dirty or broken! The hotel itself is falling apart! Roof holes and leaks everywhere and mold everywhere! We reserved from July 18-22 we left on the 20th and went to a real 5 star hotel! Extremely difficult to seat at any of their restaurants! 2-3hr wait everywhere! Everyone ended up at the buffet! Which was always full and not good at all! Extremely disappointed ☹️

The room smelled musty and moly, chipped paint all over our terrace balcony, curling in bathroom was all cut open. We had to wait in line to make reservations everyday, not something someone wants to do on vacation. You had restaurants closed on certain days and your front desk staff is rude and unaccommodating. Worse resort I have ever been to will never come back nor will I ever recommend.

This property needs an overhaul. It is run down. The pictures are deceiving and lately Expedia has been giving 3 star properties a 5 star rating. Property was far too crowded for the guests to have adequate restaurant choices. Restaurants that require reservations were terrible. I couldn’t eat the steak at Toro’s (too tough) and all the food was mediocre at best. Facilities had holes in the ceilings, water in restrooms smelled funny and drainage was poor in the shower. Pretty gross actually. Couldn’t wait to get home. I’ve stayed All-inclusive in this area many times. Iberostar, Mayakoba, and Moon Palace. They were 4 star to 5 star upon opening. Hard Rock was a hard disappointment! There for a friend’s 50th. Will not return. Lastly, to try and upscale people on their time-share property is a joke if your current property is trash. Staff was nice and accommodating when needed.

The selection of food in the buffet its awful they dont have variety always the same , room looked very outdated, the elevator stayed out of Service for ever , the stairs were full of water. Definitely im not going back or recommending this hotel to anybody!

The club is not open Sunday-Wednesday even though it’s adults only resort. Dining was very limited. Most places were reserved ahead of time which I felt was unfair since it’s an all inclusive. Not many restaurants to eat, food was very average.

Great spot for a trip. The resort had everything you could need. Felt safe the entire time. The all-inclusive made things easy. Food was hit or miss as expected but you could order 4 items to find 1 or 2 that were good. Service was excellent all around. Played golf at their Hard Rock Golf Club. That was NOT as good of an experience. Nice layout but the greens were punched and top dressed with a 1/2" of sand. That made it almost unplayable and not enjoyable at all. They never mentioned this during the tee time booking. It was only $150 rentals instead of $250 because we were hotel guests. Disappointing. I would definitely stay there again but if you plan on golfing I would call the course first to make sure it was OK.

Reservations for the good restaurants were hard to come by. You can’t make it over the phone nor with front desk, nor can you make the. At the restaurants, they make you walk back to the lobby at make reservations at a special table. So we went and they say sorry your reservation window is only from 11am-3pm so again we go the next day to try a get reservations and the line is around the lobby so you get to the front “sorry reservations are all booked but you can try to see what’s available tomorrow, ok what’s available tomorrow? There’s one at 9:30 we have two toddlers no way they’re making to make it that late and wait around for dinner. We then asked on let’s do a reservation 48 hrs in advance, their response? Nope sorry we only do reservations 24 hrs in advance. We tried again The next day and once again it was All booked they told us we could try just showing up at the restaurant once they opened and wait to see if someone cancels or doesn’t show up. I did not pay money to wait around for reservations all day! Our baby also had allergies so room service had limited to no options for my one year old that were wheat free they said sorry go try the buffet, so I went down to the buffet I was trying to just get a grilled chicken breast they tell me sorry you can’t get items to go here…I blew a gasket! MY BABY NEEDS TO EAT and IS screaming! I’m not going to bring him down here when I was told to come here. I took food out anyways! Rooms were outdated and faucets were broken.

Everything about our stay was great with the exceptions of 2 things. One of the nights when we went out, as we headed back to our room we noticed a staff memeber walking out of our room, when confronted he mentioned he was leaving a shampoo which we did not ask for and it was past the time of dropping things off, not to mention we had the “do not disturb” sign on the door. The staff member mentioned it was a mistake but something about the whole situation felt off. The hotel did accommodate us by moving us to a different room in a different building so that was good, however I will never know what the actual intentions were of the person going into our room ( until today I have not noticed anything missing) Secondly one of the cooks from the restaurant “The Market” was always in a bad mood and would be giving people attitude when ordering, you could tell the frustration just by the way he would ask what you wanted, serve the food, and also throw it on the grill.
