The area is not as developed as hotel zone and you will need a scooter. But I stayed here for 5 days and loved it "

"I had the most wonderful stay at Bloom. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The service was top notch and the receptionists help us with everything. "Nice property. The food was average, but better than other all-inclusive resorts I’ve tried. Great service and very friendly staff. The only issue was that they wasted half of our day trying to sell their travel packages. There was one lady on their sales team who was extremely rude and had a lot of attitude when we declined their “promotion package”. "

"I couldn’t say enough good things about this property. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every single day we were there. Outside area: Beautiful and jungle like around the pool, restaurant and rooms. So well maintained. Gym: perfect little fitness studio with a treadmill, elliptical, free weights and a machine for pulls. Pools: 2 main pools - rooftop or the main pool which is long enough to swim laps if desired. Room: our studio with private pool was amazing. Excellent working a/c and fans, comfortable big bed, full kitchen facilities (dishes, pots, pans, etc) and table to eat at, living room with comfy couch and smart TV, big closet with drawers and a bathroom with good water pressure and temperature control. Service: the staff are super friendly and helpful and they do an amazing job of assisting at reception or cleaning the rooms. Extras: bike rental available for extra charge, towels for the pool or to take to the beach, spa services if desired and cold fruit water always available in reception. Area of Tulum: we thought it was ideal. Right between the beach and Tulum Town. It’s in a quiet area away from heavy traffic and has lots of stores within bike or walking distance. If I came back to Tulum, I’d for sure stay here again without hesitation. "

"I was so happy with the room, which was large and clean, the grounds, beautifully taken care of, and people working every day on the grounds and pool, the rooftop terrace, where I witnessed several beautiful sunsets, got some sun, and took a cool dip in one of the four small pools. I sat several hours in the hammock listening to books that I downloaded. This was my second favorite place to hang out. Breakfast was always delicious and made with great care. I also had two suppers there, and they were delicious as well. The wonderful people at the front desk answered my questions patiently and correctly. I stayed here for 12 days and it started to feel like home. Everything was very well taken care of. Héctor M. was extremely helpful and so friendly. Everyone that worked the front desk, which is staffed 24 hours a day, was wonderful! I'm definitely going to stay here again!"

"The Grand Sirenis is a great family oriented resort with quality dining options, a beautiful snorkeling beach and fabulous mixologia bar. We particularly enjoyed the beach bbq for lunch, the italian restaurant and the carnal fashion cuisine show. We had great service from Cecile at tge archery range, good drinks on the beach from Brenda and Irene and great lunch service from Jose. We would recommend Sirenis for family vacations as the resort is a bit off the beaten track from playa del carmen, but close to akumal and tulum. Our friends did have issues with their rooms smelling of mold, so I would recommend requesting a room in a higher floor. Also our elevator never worked all 10 days, the concierge in our neighboring building was rude when we turned down the welcome breakfast (sales pitch) and you get limited mini bar services. Also at check in we weren't given much info as the goal is to get you talking to your concierge so they can sell you, we received a few phone calls but our friends were called every morning so eventually unplugged their phone. "
