We absolutely loved the property, staff is amazing, clean facilities, room was outstanding, and the rooftop was the best part. Only complaint was the food for breakfast, and it took forever to receive your food at the restaurants (over an hour).

Excellent hotel. The only thing is the lady at the breakfast restaurant. Her attitude is discriminatory. When I arrive to the restaurant, she was like “Your breakfast is not included” with attitude voices. I told her, no worries, I’ll pay for that. Her face was very disappointed!

We where very happy with our stay since we checked-in at Reef28. They had good customer service and also the food was good. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good. Overall we had great time. It made our stay very interesting. Philipe was very amazing person he made our stay more interesting by giving us information about the activities which shouldn't miss. Thank you Philipe.

This was our second time at The Reef 28, and we loved it! It’s a very different type of all inclusive, but has wonderful food and service. It’s nice to be able to order from a menu instead of a buffet that’s been picked over. The hotel is very clean.

I will never stay or recommend anyone staying at this resort. My friend got money and credit cards stolen out of her bag. They went through all of our bags and attempted to find things in the safe.

The staff from the rooftop was rude, they just don’t care about the service, they care about who can give them more tips. But the bartenders fenomenal service 100/100 and the restaurant staff 100/100.

The Reef 28 was lovely the all inclusive option was excellent the staff was great the location is right in the middle of everything everything at this hotel is definitely a 10/10 my husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay here our room was nice big and clean i told them we were celebrating my husband's birthday when i made the reservation when we got to our room it was decorated with a towel cake and rose petals on the bed they had a bottle of champagne and some birthday treats for him

The hotel was in a convenient location with shopping nearby. There are three restaurants in the hotel that offered various menus. The Cachito Mexican restaurant was very good. The only negative experience was that our room was located across the street from a nightclub/bar which was loud and, unfortunately, it was hard to sleep at night until the nightclub closed at 2am . Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay at Reef28

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the reef 28! They responded reallly well to when hurricane beryl hit! We still had power and WiFi the entire time. The chefs were good about trying to accommodate our vegan dietary concerns. We would stay here again

Great property, great location, friendly staff, easy parking (free valet) on the busiest street on the beach. The best part — it’s reliable. We were able to stay here even during hurricane Beryl (when the other hotels canceled on us last minute) and they took good care of the guests in terms of hurricane planning with emergency food and drinks. The only thing they could improve on: they use a lot of pressure tactics at check-in to make you attend a sales presentation in exchange for free massage or dinner. This is not very helpful.

The Reef 28 was ok. I went in June with 2 friends. We arrived on a Sunday and did not have our room cleaned until Wednesday despite having the sign hanging on the door. We ran out of towels and we were very low on toilet paper. There was a dampness in the air in our room even though the AC was on the whole time. When we went to book our excursions and inquire about access to the other hotels that were supposed to be included in the “all inclusive package”, we were told they needed our credit cards before taking us to the other hotel. Soon after we realized they were trying to sell us a timeshare. We had to sit through a 1 hour seminar to go to the other property. The spa was enjoyable. We did enjoy the rooftop pool, the music was good and we enjoyed the food although service was extremely slow even if there were only a few people in the restaurant(s). If you asked for anything extra like condiments, the waitress never came back with it. The neighborhood was decent. Very short walk to the beach, bars, nightclubs, shopping etc. Just expect to be harassed by the locals and children trying to sell you stuff or beg for money. While our stay wasn’t the worse, I wouldn’t go back or recommend this hotel to anyone.
