Stayed here for 5 days. Great location to the beach and 5th Avenue. They have a loud side and quiet side, initially stayed on the loud side, but asked to switch to the quiet side and that helped a lot! It was raining quite a bit and the room had some minor flooding issues. The food was good, but there is no room service and to go service so no eating in your room. I love that I had access to the 2 other hotels and they had a shuttle service and better beaches. Overall 4 out of 5 stars! Would definitely come back!

Las opciones de comida y restaurante son muy buenas, el staff amable y disponible. A 5 minutos caminando de la calle principal comercial y a 5 minutos caminando de una playa que para bastante llena. Tuve problemas con el aire acondicionado ya que no se podía cambiar la temperatura fácilmente

The room had a smell in it but because we only stayed for one night we didn't want to switch room or complain. The service was awfully slow. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was ok as we waited almost 30 mins just to get served water and I had to try and get the attention of the server numerous times but was ignored. Overall the facility was great and nice but might not come back.

Beautiful property and a fantastic spa (highly recommend). Front desk staff and spa staff are great. Bartenders and servers are all miserable. Food was pretty underwhelming. With so many restaurants in the area you’re better going off site and having a good meal. The price works out to be the same (if not cheaper). The photos of the rooftop pool are deceiving. Very tiny pool in a cramped area. I’m not that old but the music that starts at 12pm every day is obnoxious. You want a fun party vibe but this was like going to Rebel night club. Starts to grate on the nerves after a while and it’s way tooo loud. Rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Only negative is that my room must have been near the kitchen because every time i wanted to use the balcony, I got hit with the smell of a deep fryer vent. Overall, good hotel for your home base. Have breakfast here, but plan to spend the remainder of your day off-site. Good location and VERY walkable to main strip and beach.

Overall it exceeded our expectations! It was nicer than the pictures offered online and bed/room was nice (and large) and entire resort was clean. Location is prime and quick to walk all over blocks and blocks of stores/restaurants & the beach! Roof top pool was 10x more exciting than expected so if you want excitement (a DJ, people watching, drinks, food, etc.) at The Reef, the rooftop pool & bar is THE place to be all day and night! ***A tip: if you want peace/quiet, do not get a room on the 4th floor because you will hear everyone on the rooftop*** All staff was very very nice, just the actual service was not good at all (they operate very slowly for all drinks/food service) & you can’t get any adult beverage past 11pm at The Reef 28. Only downsides but that’s minor compared to the overall excellent experience, well worth every penny (we did all inclusive) & we will return someday!

Reef 28 is a beautiful hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s located right in the heart of town and close to the beach. Shopping is literally right outside the doors. My complaints are that the rooms are extremely noisy, they all surround the main restaurant so you hear kitchen noise late into the night and very early morning. The majority of the rooms are also located next to the street so you have a lot of street noise. The food is mediocre with very limited options and service is EXTREMELY slow. But the staff are all very kind so it’s hard to get too impatient. The drinks make up for the mediocre food. The hotel overall has a cruise ship vibe so if that’s what you enjoy you’ll be very comfortable there.
