The staff was amazing. There are some wonderful workers there. The property is beautiful. Plenty of wildlife and picturesque spots. The food was ok. I enjoyed the Mexican and French restaurants. The beach was dirty and covered with seaweeds. Some of the rooms are moldy and have visible water stains. I refused to take the first room that was assigned to me because of the mold. Overall, my children enjoyed the experience. However, I don't think I would visit again unless there are some major upgrades to the rooms.

I booked because the price was cheaper than most and pictures looked good. I was very pleasantly surprised. Small rooms, but had ocean view. Was on 4th ploor overlooking ocean and pool area. Food was very good. Service and employee friendliness was excellent. I would go back again.

We got a garden room which is a really long walk to the beach. The elevators were broken and we were on the 4th floor. I don’t know how anyone who isn’t fully able bodied could get to their room. It’s hot everywhere since the only areas air conditioned are the buffet and your room once you get in and put the key in to run the electric. Flies everywhere. Don’t buy excursions outside of the hotel because they don’t allow you to be picked up so they charge way too much for activities. I would not stay here again but we love Mexico and will try another property.

This property is old. We stayed here 10 years a go and had a great experience, but it seems that they haven’t done any maintenance since then. This time was a horrible experience.The rooms are old and dirty. First of all when we checked in, they assigned us a room that the AC wasn’t working. The elevator for that building didn’t work, they moved us to Other room, to orher bulding that the elevator didn’t work either. So we had to carry our luggage 3 levels. They assigned us other room, nothing better than the first one but at least the AC worked. The mirrors on the bathroom werw pelling off. The seat on the toilet was pelling off as well, our toilet was leaking water and making a horrible noise when flushing. Reported it but no one care. The phone didn’t have the keys. The door handler for the balcony door wasn’t there. There were stains in all over the walls and ceiling. The elevators were out of service. The sink on the restroom was clogged. The personnel was rude or in bad mood, not friendly at all. Definitely last time we stay here.

I was debating to give this property a 1 star, however I chose to give them 3 stars because of most of their hard-working employees. Most of them went the extra mile to provide a great service, but our first day was horrible. We reserved an ocean view deluxe room, so it had a small balcony. When we arrived the room was not ready so we went to the buffet while we waited. Once we got our keys, we went to our room, got ready and went out. When we returned back to the room that night, we went out to the balcony for a few minutes, then I went in the room to grab a drink and when I tried to open the door to go out to the balcony again, I couldn’t open the door. My husband tried to help from the outside, but it was impossible. I called the front desk so they could send someone to help us because my husband was stuck out there. We waited and waited and no-one came. I had to call like five times before I could get someone to come help. By then, my husband was stuck out there for more than two hours and the mosquitos were having a feast with him. When I called back to let them know that we needed to go to a different room and to let them know that we were very unhappy with what just happened, the supervisor’s response (Alfredo) was very rude. Basically, he insinuated in a loud voice and with the worst behavior that because my husband was already in the room, then he had done his job. He certainly forgot that we had to wait hours for “his help”.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The attention to detail from the moment I arrived was impeccable - the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, and the service was great. What truly stood out to me was how friendly and welcoming the people at the resort were. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. It truly made my stay memorable and I can't wait to come back again in the future. Overall, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. You won't be disappointed!"

does not care to pick you up makes you stranded everywhere you go. does not pick up your suitcases or bring them to the miles lon g property, makes you travel yourself with heavy suitcase. food is terrible, air conditioner does not work. buyer beware of such terrible service.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay! There was plenty of food options available. The entertainment staff made the pool days fun. Te staff were friendly especially Fernando at the buffet near the beach. The beach was not as great as we would have liked but a short walk to the right of the resort the beach was better. We would book again!
