The staff is very welcoming and polite. The property is very clean. Was very disappointed in the food quality for a Hyatt. Very few restaurants and not all are open all the time. Also didn't know that they were closed that day until you tried to go in. Food options were also very scares even when the restaurant was open. For breakfast, you have one option and it's the same food every day. The drinks are good no complaints there. Also, it's very hot even inside. Doesn't feel like they have air conditioning at all. Just not what I expected for a Hyatt.

Everything was good at the Hotel, except for the tour services. The woman sold me the tour package wasn’t exactly what she told me regarding the trip itinerary. I was so disappointed. I would recommend it if you decided to purchase the day trip package at this hotel, make sure that you have the itinerary in writing.

This is a beautiful small resort, everything is very close, beach, pools, restaurants. The only place it is a little farther is the SPA. Every employee provides excellent customer service. This resort needs a couple of restaurants added, as there are only 3 plus the breakfast and lunch buffet. Property does need some maintenance but overall is very nice. Rooms temperature is controlable and you can keep it nice and cool without being too cold and or humid. My room had an amazing beautiful ocean view. I do recommend this resort to friends and family.

Most staff members were super nice, friendly, and ready to help. Property itself is a bit rundown. I had to call in for the repair a leaky toilet, a slow-running sink, and a non-functioning scale. Service requests were handled promptly, but I feel the guests shouldn't have to discover these problems. Each room should be checked periodically to make sure everything is working properly before guests arrive. Pool area and beach access were great. They had great entertaining nights, a water show in the pool and a Mexican night with mariachis and local dancers. They also had great activities in and around the pool throughout our stay, with very friendly staff. Food selection was just OK, nothing that really stood out. We believe we got sick from our stomachs at their Mexican night buffet, which kept us confined within the property for at least 2 full days. Our most enjoyable meal was at their Italian restaurant, with a great Caesar salad and generous portion of a well-seasoned New York steak. Nice hotel, but not 4.5 stars, as claimed.

I liked that for the money spent the property was very clean and had a luxurious feel to it since it's modern and newly renovated. I also liked the restaurants (even though there's 3 and a breakfast buffet) and entertainment. What I didn't like is that we had a problem with our shower for the first few days of our stay. Water was cold (they said it was an external issue due to hurricane, but still it was an inconvenience until this got resulted). Also, our shower was getting easily flooded with water and even spilled outside of the shower. We had to call a plumber twice to resolve the issue and the hotel took no ownership of this problem and instead made it seem like it was normal since it's a "rain shower." It was clearly a problem! On the last night of my stay the hotel did brazellion night for dinner and sadly I got food poisoned when I returned home. A few people we went to dinner with a few times noticed they would undercook their meat. Lastly - this hotel is very sneaky in getting you to do a time share. They tell you they will offer $200 off a resort service, take you to breakfast at another one of their resorts and give you a tour for two hours in hopes you come back. Nobody tells you it's a presentation with a rep and one that takes about 4 hours. Be aware!!
