"Hello, I would just like to say, Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness resort is amazing. The beach was beautiful and clear with a lot of wild life if you love snorkelling. I had the chance to swim with sea turtles, stingrays and a variety of different fishes. The One Man Orchestra played for us on the beach and truly did a great job. Boggles my mind how a man can play so many intrustments at once. The staff is so kind and joyful. They really ensure you have an amazing time, which they exceeded. We got the penthouse room with the jacuzzi on the rooftop all rooms have a jacuzzi on their balcony). It was such a relaxing time being able to just hang out on the roof during the evening. Being able to wake up and see a beautiful beach out your window made me grateful. The food was good and being able to eat at different restaurants without making a reservation was even better. You may have to wait but the wait time was no more than 10 minutes as there’s bars right by it to kill time. Snack bar is open 24 hours so it was really convenient to get whatever you wanted late night. The buffet had different selections for dinner which helped most resorts being repetitive. The resort it was is such a relaxing feel. They had yoga and meditation which we attended and got to start a beautiful and blessed day with Aram from meditation. Bringing light to our morning so it can be the brightest day you could have. I don’t know what else to say, besides, I highly recommend Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness."

"Great location! Couches are really uncomfortable but we were mostly on the beach and did not use them often. Staff was responsive to all requests. Will definitely be back. "

"This resort was amazing! Loved that there were so many pools and kid friendly. Also having beach access without having to leave was another bonus. The food was good but our favorite was the Mexican restaurant that is included in the all inclusive. There was a great variety of alcohol and the flavor did not disappoint. Thank you to all the staff we will definitely be back. Lastly don’t forget to tip the lovely staff! "

"We had a wonderful stay in this cute modest sized accommodation steps from beautiful Half Moon Bay. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. While it is small it is very comfortable and well furnished with A/C. The beach is some 30 steps from the front door and has several decent restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The host provided easy to follow instructions for how to finding the unit. We had a most enjoyable stay without a hitch!"

"Our family had a great stay. We utilized the day passes at the resort on the other side of the highway and rode the trolley to get there. We rented a car and had a private parking space; we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and ziplined over cenotes. There was a pool within the property that our young children loved. When there was an issue with the sink leaking it was immediately addressed. The only hiccup was the check in process. The issue seems like it was due to the personality of one security guard, as he continued to be unfriendly to the point of blatant rudeness every time we encountered him. He was the only guard who asked for our identification, and after we had our initial encounter with him at check in, he seemed angry every time we saw him. None of this was the fault of the host and she worked quickly to resolve the issue, for which we are grateful. We would absolutely book again with this host."
