This was a beautiful resort. Staff was wonderful result was very clean and the food was incredible! I would give this resort 4 1/2 stars. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back again. It was a wonderful vacation. I’m glad I chose this resort.

Staff is very friendly and helpful . What I like about this resort is that whatever room you choose you will have an amazing view of the beach and every room will have a deep tub in the balcony . Loved the property…staff were nice! Just one thing I would have loved free shuttle to and from the airport. À shuttle to the beer by town of playa Del Carmen. Taxis are super expensive and so are the car services. An all inclusive with 5 diamonds can do these little upgrades and would notice a huge difference.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stay at UNICO 20°87° We had an amazing experience at UNICO. The resort is beautiful, the food was excellent, the drinks were high quality, and the staff truly made the trip. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. Our personal concierge, Manuel went above and beyond and helped make our stay memorable! Unfortunately, there was a lot of sargassum during our stay, which made the beach difficult to enjoy, but we understand that’s completely outside of the resort’s control. Aside from the beach conditions, UNICO exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, beautiful pools and grounds, great rooms, excellent drinks, and outstanding service. We had an incredible vacation and would absolutely recommend UNICO and return in the future.

We gotta give a special review to Janet, she was the best part of this trip. She made sure to succeed our expectations during this trip. We loved her dearly and honestly we already miss her. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. Although me and my friends speak Spanish this is a very non-Spanish speaking friendly hotel for those who are interested in that. It is an older group. Mostly family, couples or girls trips. Very active during the day and at night it gets a little bit more chill.

Our stay at this all-inclusive resort was exceptional. The staff’s exceptional attentiveness, the refreshing pools, and the complimentary hats were particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the food by the pool was delicious, and the room service was a great treat after a long day. The resort’s array of stores also provided a delightful shopping experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the hibachi dinner we enjoyed one evening. However, we encountered a minor inconvenience with the beach, which was unfortunately covered in seaweed and emitted an unpleasant odor. We had anticipated the opportunity to fully utilize the beach during our stay. In summary, this resort is more suited for couples rather than teenagers. My sons found the activities and entertainment options somewhat lacking.

It’s a really elegant and chill hotel. The only thing I questioned was the description of the rooms since when we booked the title of the room said “two queen beds,” but they weren’t queen beds. The ocean view is not always ocean view. Although, it’s considered ocean view. Our balcony would see out to the pool and hotel, but not really the ocean view we thought. Overall if you’re looking for a hotel that’s more relaxed/chill this is the place. The pool does have music but it’s not too “hype” or upbeat.

We enjoyed our stay a lot there. The grounds are very well kept and the staff was very helpful. Part of our group participated in morning pilates and pool activities. The resort was under 50% capacity and there was plenty of space by the pool and on the beach. It was hatching season, lots of tracks from the turtles just outside the hotel. It was also sargazo season so it wasn't that good, not as bad as other places in the area, we could get in the water a couple of times. Janet was our host, very helpful, we had an incident with the a/c in our room, we moved to another close by and she arrange for a day cabin and lobster for our little trouble. She also arrange for dinner at all the restaurant, the food was great, French and Asian were outstanding, if you go to the Italian one, weather permitting, seat outside; we were lucky to get there when Chef Palomo was serving a special dinner at the Mexican restaurant, he came to our table and explained the history and cooking method for every dish, his menu could've been easily over $100 per person at any other place. We'd love to get back after the sargazo season to enjoy the beach more and one suggestion, a lounge or maybe turn one of the restaurants into a night club at night with drinks and music.

The hotel is decent, but not amazing. The positives: - Food was good at the French, Japanese and Steakhouse - we enjoyed the gym - pool options were good The negatives: - Room was ok, but shower was luke-warm throughout the stay (maintenance never resolved it) - time-share pitch at check in - water was not replenished in the room (we left a tip…!) - Property was noisy 2 of 3 nights with events (loud music until after 10pm) - Spa service was ok, but seriously overpriced - the staff was very rude to our friends who were also guests
